American sports journalist Grant Wahl dead at 48. Was in Qatar covering the World Cup. Likely to be a huge story given his prominence and his recent detainment for wearing a rainbow shirt

This article is just quoting Radar Online, so probably tabloid fiction. I can believe he's out of it (Sylvester Stallone commented in an interview last month that he's now "incommunicado"), but I doubt he's wasting away or anything like that. He appeared as recently as yesterday on his childrens' social media, so not like he's at the point where they need to hide him from the world.

I'll echo msc, quite surprised no one had tabs on him. Very recognizable. Breaking Bad, The Man in the High Castle, Parks and Recreation, several low-budget action movies, etc. Also, looking him up, it seems he was actually a little older than previously noted: NAME: Wolf Muser BORN: Oct 1946 AGE: 76 LIVES IN: Thousand Oaks, CA

Kirstie Alley dead at 71.

I reverted that edit the other day that claimed she died in 2014. Apparently it's still active on Wikidata and the French Wikipedia, but, yeah, it's someone else. Here's the Olympian: NAME: Paulette Gibbens Sr BORN: Feb 1928 AGE: 94 LIVES IN: Chipley, FL Per voteref.com, she was an active voter as of December 2021 and voted in the 2020 election, so seems safe to assume she is still around.

Why would he be talking about Deathlist? You'd come to a site like this and NOT expect rampant speculation about somebody dying?

Cliff Emmich, the character actor from Payday, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Halloween II and Little House on the Prairie, dead at 85. Notable for his very large frame (he was typecast as The Fat Guy more often than not). Quite an age for him to reach!
-
Brad William Henke dead at 56. Former NFL player who segued to acting and appeared in TV series including Orange Is the New Black, Justified and Lost and such films as Pacific Rim and World Trade Center.

Martin Crowe was at #1 and he's a nobody over here. I'd stick Kissinger at the top, though.

There's also a recent video of her where she talks about perfume. She seems fine.

There are 13 living players from the Mets' inaugural 1962 season. The oldest is Frank Thomas (b. 1929), who is also the oldest Milwaukee Brave and Houston Astro. He suffered a bad fall in 2021, but recovered well enough to appear at their 2022 Old Timers' Day and seemed fine. Ed Kranepool (b. 1944), the youngest player on that team, was also there. The oldest Red is Al Worthington (b. 1929), who is also the oldest San Francisco Giant. There are also 12 living players from the Cincinnati Redlegs, of which the oldest is Bob Kelly (b. 1927). The youngest two were born in 1939 and 1940, so could be around for a while.

New Thanksgiving family photo: Glad Clint was able to take time away from being on his death bed to appear in it.

Mildly old news by now, but doesn't seem like it was noted on here: Actor Barry Corbin was fighting oral cancer over the summer. Turned 82 last month. Googling around shows a recent update in People. Says he had surgery, feared losing his voice, but seems generally out of the woods now even though his doctor says he'll be a "patient for life". Doesn't seem like he'll die imminently, but perhaps one to watch for 2024+. (He's already a DDP pick.)

Hollywood Reporter obit for Mickey Kuhn.

Jane Fonda - Controversial Princess of a Hollywood Dynasty
tracy replied to Gooseberry Crumble's topic in DeathList Forum
Old people talk like that all the time. Off the top of my head, John Lithgow, James Hong, and Norman Lear have all had similar quotes recently. More than likely doesn't mean anything beyond them stating the obvious that they're not gonna be around forever. -
Albert Pyun is "in his final days" and receiving in-home hospice care per his wife's FB. (Kind of surprised he seems to only have one prior mention on this site given that he's been seriously ill with MS and dementia for about a decade now.)

Robert Clary of Hogan's Heroes fame dead at 96.

I notice that Wikipedia/IMDB claim SNL Downey is the half-brother of Robert Downey Sr. and uncle of Robert Downey Jr. However, this long-standing fact actually appears to have been about the James B. Downey who just died, given that it's in the obituary linked there. What a mess.

The article confirming his centenarian status in his Wiki article is a 2021 interview from the Wharton School. He's described in it as their oldest living alumnus, which is a reasonable claim to fame, so I'd expect them to still have tabs on him.
-
Was alive as of September 2021, and was covered in June 2020 and December 2019. So, probably.

Kevin Conroy, the iconic voice of Batman, reportedly dead: EDIT: I see he's a DDP pick. There's a lucky punt.

Hollywood Reporter obit. Guessing they read this forum.
