I used to work with him; he sounds like his usual self. Last time I saw him in person was 2018. His wife always seemed to be in worse health than him; she's still getting electroshock treatment as far as I know. Genesis' declining health was an active discussion among us, so I just thought: oh perfect pick, not someone boring.

He's got a weird financial situation: There are no retirement accounts, no money-market funds, no stocks, no crypto, not even a basic checking or savings account. Even more peculiar, his disclosures have never listed any checking or savings accounts on any of the forms he has filed going back to 2016, the year he was elected to Congress. This is confusing. Well yeah, and we don't need a debt ceiling either. They do it this way so they can threaten us. My dad doesn't get paid and has to work overtime if they go into shutdown. (he's in airplane safety: this is really fucking dangerous that the GOP keep staging shutdowns). And the government didn't even pay them back right away during the last shutdown in 2018-2019 over Trump's wall: they "trickled" the money to them.

So this is the 2nd death this year from Euphoria. The first one was actor Angus Cloud, from a multiple drug overdose. He was scouted at rehab and hired to play a drug dealer. This man also had the tell-tale drug sweats; so I'm curious to see the cause of death. However, he was not a producer of American Idol: he was the producer of The Idol, which was noted drug addict Weeknd's television debut and rumored to be about Ariana Grande. Very huge difference. Audiences have been discussing Turen's shows for the past couple years as being huge ethics violations, so those associated with them should be on people's deathlist radar.
