Why would David Attenborough be on the list, he is probably the most healthy and active 94 year old around.

Agree I think some names are there purely to avoid the sheer amount of noise there'd be if somebody as famous as Attenborough ended up on the list of the missed.

  2. Buzz is currently around the fact that he hasn't been seen in person for almost 48 hours giving credit to the theories that Covid is giving him a spanking.

I'm still not getting excited though.

Its all about perspective. I think most people in swing states will vote according to their experience with the Trump Administration. The people who got their jobs back will vote for him, the ones who got bumped off by the hospitals under Trump when they had COVID wont be voting for him.

Either way its way too close to call, most betting places are calling it 50/50 chance.

Agree, I don't think he will die and I do think he'll be re-elected.

Have been told that the great Jean Marsh is now in much frailer heath after that stroke and also suffering a heart attack in recent years. She is also unable to reply to fan mail.

She's got such a rich and full filmography but my brain goes straight to her as the ghost hunter in....wait for it.....Ghost Hunter (CBBC 2000-ish).

    Maybe a generational thing!

I do think Peter Sutcliffe will die later this year. The person in 50th has died everytime since 2017.

That doesn't seem long enough to make it a tradition (yet)

I think Donald Trump might pull out of the election next month. It's now the only way to avoid defeat. Its the sort of shocker he would do, depriving Joe Biden of his now inevitable landslide victory. I'm putting money on a shock announcement at the republican convention that he's quitting.

    Is it an inevitable landslide?

They must have been told to wear black just in case they have to announce his death today. It doesn't mean its going to happen though. He could make a full recovery !

All back in their usual wardrobe today. Boris must be on the mend.

  8. All of the UK newsreaders (that I've seen anyway) wearing black this morning...

Remember the Peter Sissons/Red Tie/Queen Mum fiasco?

Are they expecting a major announcement that nobody wants to be caught out in summer florals with ?

  9. Manchester based Bugzy Malone has been in, seemingly, quite a serious motorcycle crash. Can't find an article to link to but a video of the mangle/aftermath is causing debate on Twitter over

    A. Why would filming be your go to reaction to a friend coming off his bike?

    B. Why are you out playing on bikes during quarantine (ish) time

    C. You've now crashed and become a burden on an already crushed NHS.

Anyway he's not dead, condition not yet confirmed though.

  10. Been thinking about Brit Lindsay Sandiford this week. I remember an article/interview recently where she was quite calm and resigned to her fate now and the execution was due to be carried "whenever they got around to it" and with just 24 hours notice.

I thought maybe with the world in a flap, offing your death sentence pool all at once is the kind of thing that would alleviate some pressure on the prison and wardens.

I reckon she'll be called up soon.
