Died 11/may oldest known person in Greenland,Jorgen Kleeman was born 7th March 1923 in Aappilattoq, Kujalleq and died in Nuuk, Sermersooq,he was the oldest person in Greenland since 28/feb/21,Kleeman worked as a baker, then as a port warehouse worker and, from 1987, as a catechist. He also served as a church leader for twenty years. In 2005, he moved to Nuuk, In the 1980s, he started releasing music with the Ulo label, which he recorded with his family. Some of them were his compositions, but others were also traditional pieces. Between 1984 and 1991, he released four albums, each with about a dozen songs. It was mainly folk and dance music, which he performed at holidays, family celebrations or international festivals in Greenland, Denmark and Canada.
