Ok, from what I understand it is part of a single nation, but if it is part of a single nation, why in football, rugby, do they compete separately? From the explanation I found it was because of the rivalry between England and Scotland in football, which it was the first match between national teams in history, if I'm not mistaken, and they left it like that, so they decided to separate in this sport, is that why? In the analogy of Serena Williams being from Michigan/USA, I understand, but I, as an outsider, would understand the same thing that Lewis Hamilton is from Stevenage, and the county of Hertfordshire, so it would be as if Hertfordshire was Michigan in this comparison, I don't know If I could explain this question clearly

I already searched on the internet, but the answer I found didn't satisfy me (tradition), I wanted to hear from you here Because in some sports (Olympics, tennis, Formula 1, 2, 3 indy, racing in general, etc.) the flag of the athlete's country of origin is not shown, but rather that of Great Britain, and the athlete can be Scottish, Welsh , Northern Ireland, which are different countries, I think that when compared, it would be the same if Mercosur countries joined in these sports, Nordic countries, Baltics, etc.. Personally, I always found it strange and never liked it, but what do you think about it? Is there another explanation for this? I understand that in politics this union may be important, but sport is different and I don't like it very much, for example today in Lewis Hamilton's victory at Silverstone he raised the British flag, I would find it much more beautiful and interesting if it were the English flag, just like If you were Irish, Scottish, or Welsh Sorry if my question seems silly, but I always wanted to hear from someone who experiences this and not from someone who sees it from the outside, please I would really appreciate it if someone could give their opinion and explain it to me

I won't be able to change anyone's opinion and no one will be able to change mine either. Most of the posts are curious about the person, or what they did differently, but they are not part of the countries that most people are interested in. As for films, as I said, they are films by people mentioned here, some with awards or nominations for Oscar, Venice, Cannes and some by famous directors, and even if they weren't it wouldn't be a problem to know them, but I'm being repetitive on this. Thanks for trying to make me feel better -

I really don't understand what happened here , that's not what I meant What I meant was that I don't think it's a problem for someone with 2 lines on Wikipedia to have their name mentioned here, many people are mentioned here who don't even have a Wiki page, and that all the films mentioned featured actors and actresses mentioned here Anyway, I will never understand the minds of those who don't like getting to know people, the history they made, or even films, it's just a curiosity, I wasn't forcing anyone to read anything, I read whoever wanted to If I offended someone by presenting something different from normal, I'm sorry, if I wasted someone's time I apologize, if I irritated someone I ask them to forgive me. It was never my intention to cause any kind of inconvenience to anyone, as I said, I didn't come here to make enemies. I don't understand the reason for the suspension, I just wish it was explained. They say I do this because I have nothing to do, but it's exactly the opposite, I do a lot of things at the same time, that's why I made mistakes (I know they weren't few, and I'm even embarrassed by them, and I apologize too) Perhaps some phrase or word that may have offended someone here does not have that meaning of offense, a cultural issue, or that varies from country to country I still think the site would be much better with more information, more complete, not just with names that most people know Everyone thinks differently, and I think I'm in the minority I will retreat to my insignificance -

The thing is, there're millions of actors listed on IMDB who have appeared in films in almost every language going and thousands of Olympians of varying success in every discipline going. You posted Fernando Bolea for instance in the Summer Olympics thread, his English Wiki page is a whopping 2 sentences long. -

Okay, you know how to make a person sadder than they already are, okay. Some people here just show up to talk bad about the other members (mainly about me and Crem) and don't contribute anything (I won't say who), I feel like I'm at school being bullied In the films I mentioned, there are winning and nominated films, there are awards such as Oscar, Cannes, Venice, but they are obscure, a film directed by Vittorio De Sica, but it is no good, right, the page is there to be used, some films are really unknown, but which the problem? What's the point of mentioning him there if there's no one else alive in the cast? It's a curiosity, what's the problem with seeing the film now? Each person or animal I included had a story, and I put reasons in the posts, I find all the information posted here interesting, even though I don't know most of the people and I'm grateful to everyone who posts about everyone I don't know who is famous in the United Kingdom, I'm not even from Europe, and I know that there are other people who are not from Europe here too and have better insight than me, but I think the site would be much richer with information about more people and from all over the place, not just the most famous ones (which is undoubtedly important too), as this news comes out in various places. For me it is the main site that talks about deaths, the more information the better, but I see that 8 or 9 people don't see it that way (always the same) This must be why a lot of people hardly post -
