Now, if I’m correct, there’s 6 survivors the 1950 World Cup : Kurt Rey and Walter Beerli for Switzerland Antonio Carbajal from Mexico Carlos Rojas from Chile Dario Jara Saguier from Paraguay Sinisa Zlatkovic for Yugoslavia For Walter Beerli, I found one website saying he died in 1995, but it doesn’t seem trustworhty, as its source is an obituary for a guy named Walter… Burri !

You mean the Saudi player Obeid Al Dosari ? I do think he’s still alive ?? And according to Wikipedia he is ! 14 players dead that’s a lot for a World Cup who took place only 24 years ago

I think he is the third player from 1998 to pass away, after Rashidi Yekini from Nigeria and Freddy Rincon from Colombia

Thank you for your answer. What are your sources for Cortes, Ochoa and Jae Sung ? Because I checked transfermarkt, Wikipedia (english and spanish) and other sites, and there is no mention of their death. If you already posted it on DL I will check out previous pages
