There seems to be a confusion on the identity of this player. He has no Bulgarian wiki so it's complicated. If you selected the 1937-born player from this page, it will direct you to Georgi Dimitrov who played in 1956 Olympics. What's contradicting is he only played for the national team until 1958. No reference linked in the wiki mentioned him being part of the 1962 squad. In the Polish and Hungarian wiki, there is a page for the player born in 1937 but never debuted for the national team.

The 1962 Bulgaria’s squad wiki page was also modified, Nikolov been replaced by Dimitrov in the roster.

You know you're getting old when you can clearly remember Francisco Conceição's dad Sergio scoring a hattrick in Euro 2000!

The Portuguese Conceição are the second father and son duo to both score in a Euro after the Italian Chiesa, the father Enrico scoring against Czech Republic in Euro 1996, and the son Federico scoring against Austria and Spain in Euro 2020.

Some others who weren't there include Valentin Lebedev, Pyotr Klimuk (seems to live in Belarus? Anyways his 80th birthday was a while ago and in new images he looks like he could easily win the local Robbie Coltrane lookalike contest), Vitaly Zholobov (lives or lived in Ukraine, Kherson to be precise, reported to be suffering from some health issues in 2020), Vyacheslav Zudov, Vladimir Kovalyonok (obese but seems to be doing fine), Yuri Romanenko and Leonid Popov.

Vyacheslav Zudov has died aged 82.

In the latest issue of the document, published on 25 November 2023, three are living : Jones-Rickards, Pinder and Kellman.

But this article, published on 14 November 2023 says there are two survivors : Pinder and Kellman.

One sure thing : Jeremiah Neymour died in January 2023 a few days after his 100th birthday. The article also says there are two WW2 Bahamians Veterans left as well.

Vernon Pinder has died on 20 April at the age of 98.

Bahamas has now one or two surviving veterans : Henry Kellman and maybe (?) Doreen Carmel Jones-Rickards.

    10. Morrie Markoff - The second one of this group who as far as I know has no Wikipedia page. "Notable" only for being the oldest blogger, but also the oldest man in the US now. Looks much younger.

Morrie Markoff has died four days ago.
