He's preformed live (not prerecorded like Michael Bolton last year) recently in a taping for Disney's Christmas special, but it wasn't a new song. So he can possibly still do that.

I hope whoever insisted on his number is proud with themselves because that's a damn fine idea they had there.

Harris Rosen, owner and founder of Rosen Hotels (the biggest independent hotel chain in the Orlando area, and no doubt familiar to those of you who have visited Orlando), has died at 85 following complications from a surgery. He received international attention and acclaim, especially on social media, for his philanthropic efforts throughout the region over the last 50 years. Perhaps most notably, he spearheaded, funded, designed, and gave land to, UCF's hospitality school named after himself (which continues to be named as the best or one of the best in the world in the subject, and in which he was heavily involved up to his death). Personally this was a rather hard post to write for me because I'm an alumni (twice over) of his school and a very close friend of his was my mentor.

Why does everyone say he's associated with Wheel when almost none of his episodes actually survive? He's far more associated with later game shows and other ventures.
-
I don't think either him or his wife or a safe bet for the list, especially with the 2024 picks of the committee being rather terrible. Or alternatively he, she, or both of them, end up on the list and are deadweight.

A photo of the Emperor Emeritus as he enters a building to give condolences on the death of his aunt: He continues to be able to walk unaided, while his wife uses a stick.

Yuriko, Princess Mikasa (or Takahito ShinnÅhi Yuriko), died on November 15th. She also QOed, if anyone has her in a pool.

Sounds like a good dog. Although I'm curious if the US government recognizes the waterfall name...

According to my sources in Winnipeg, he died of a brain aneurysm which he suffered during training.

It's far harder to replace Marge than more minor characters. Unlike in the foreign language versions where voice actors have cycled in and out, the English voice cast has been the same for decades. Although it would probably mean Marge might actually sound like how she used to 20 or 30 years ago which would be a massive improvement...

Thanks! I have to assume next year she may do an interview or two because of the 45th anniversary of Scrooge, so we might know more then.

The article says his tumor is stable, so I think seeing February is a realistic punt. It's a more treatable kind of brain tumor as well, which has almost certainly helped him survive as long as he has. Which makes me think he may see 2026 without as much trouble as we think, especially if his drugs (and medical care) are working.

Anyone know if Suzanne Neve is still alive? Hasn't acted in over 40 years, but had involvement in multiple major films, like Scrooge (1970) - of which I believe she's probably one of three cast members who played named characters left (Mary Peach and Karen Scargill are the others it seems, at least according to curious research - I'm not counting the gaggle of children credited as "child" or "urchin", most of whom are still alive), various BBC series in the 60's, and other things as well. Was just wondering if anyone knew - as I'm getting ready to attempt my yearly watch of the film on Thanksgiving. I don't know if she'd QO (though I'd bet on the Guardian personally), but I can't find anything on if she's even alive at all.
-
Surprising that she'd be the first one to go voluntarily of the English-language cast!

Eh, I'd argue the car incident was way more dangerous for him at least in terms of immediate death chance. Hitting his head isn't good, but those burns could have been a lot worse.

She was nominated as such because she didn't get Secretary of Commerce. She didn't get Commerce because they guy who didn't get Treasury (also a co-chair of Trump's transition like Linda), got it instead. Likely to be one of the easier picks to confirm besides Rubio.

Not even two bloody months! Still, articles I've read seem to say he's going to be fine. A warning to everyone about walking down ungraded hills...

They're much friendlier than larger dogs in general though.

I don't mind this. Corgis are generally cute, and much less likely to want to eat me or otherwise attack me than much larger dogs.

Maybe she liked him more than some of the others? -
The article compares her to a POW camp survivor... And it isn't wrong. Both her and her co-star look absolutely like they need help.

He unfortunately did not come anywhere close to winning... But neither really did Logan Paul despite the result.
-
This is an exhibition fight, The two of them are fighting for the money and not particularly anything else, so I don't think Logan Paul is going to go out there with the intent of putting a massive beatdown on Mike Tyson that could cause him great injury. There's no incentive to do so, especially with the huge age difference between them.
