He'll either be dead by the end of the year or early next year. As someone posted a while back in this thread, we're not even sure if he can get out of bed. The fact that a few music legends like Bruce Springsteen traveled to visit him might not be the best sign either. Jimmy Buffett in his last days had several musicians visit him, including Paul McCartney. I know Shane's wife is trying to be positive about all of this, but it has to be very difficult and demanding for her, although hopefully his doctors and nurses are trying to take the burden off. If he does make it to the beginning of '24, he should be somewhere in the top 10.

It looks like legendary NASCAR Play by play announcer Ken Squier is in his final days, per fellow MRN Radio announcer Dave Moody. He's had shingles, Covid, and a stroke in the last few years.

Sally has kept a fairly low profile since her show ended, but she did give a tribute to Jerry Springer after his death in April. I'm not sure how healthy she is though.

Perry's death is one of the most shocking this year. I know he had problems with alcohol in the past, and had aged a bit in recent years, but it's still shocking nonetheless. R.I.P.

He's obviously lying and in denial over why he has had so many issues over the years. Crashes don't give you autism. Kanye has never gotten help which makes the situation worse.

Very sad. Loved hearing his voice When I'd watch the Open. An Open legend.

Is this Frankie's farewell tour?

I noticed in 2021, when ESPN started airing NHL games again, I noticed Barry had a tremor throughout, and he also looked somewhat gaunt. Hope he sticks around in the sport for at least a few more years.

A little late here, but I can't say if I'm surprised or not. She looked very frail and unaware when she returned, but on her last day, she looked better. She seemed like she wouldn't go down without a fight. She was a great senator but she really should've retired after 2018.

I believe this is Buddy's farewell tour as well.

Apparently, Jr.'s account was hacked and the tweets got deleted.

Grassley seems to still be in good health even though he's 88. He does some running when not working, but at his age, anything can happen. The Senate is a 6-year term, so he'll be 95. His wife's still living too. He might outlive Feinstein or Mitch. Thurmond and Byrd were pretty much frail at the end, they both had a very low profile. This is what I feel about Mitch and Feinstein today.

What's happening to Bonnie Tyler?

You're thinking of the margarita guy.

I was glad he had Sir Paul as one of his last visitors. He has one posthumous album left to be released.

What a shock. Buffett was my favorite artist in music, and I'm just a big fan of anything tropical in general. I knew he had health issues but didn't think it was anything serious. Thanks for the decades of great songs that will live forever. Wherever you're at, hope it's 5 0'clock somewhere.

Since the start of this year, Mitch has had so many health issues, It started in February when he fell in Helsinki while meeting with the Finnish president. He then fell again in February, causing a concussion and a fractured rib, resulting in a lengthy hospital stay. He had trouble hearing reporters at a news conference in June. He had yet another fall getting off a plane at Regan National Airport in DC in July. He had his first freezing spell later that month and had another one yesterday. Don't care for the guy, but hopefully he gets the medical help he needs. I worry he'll eventually have another fall or a major stroke, and neither may end well for him with what's been happening in just this year alone. I wonder if him or Feinstein will go first. I think Fetterman will get better, slowly but surely. I commend him for getting help with his depression.

That sounds very similar to what happened to Lil Tay a few weeks ago, both of their Instagrams were hacked, saying they passed, they both lost access to their accounts, and the posts were deleted. Is some hacker doing this to people in their times of crisis?

Bob was an amazing game show host. He made the Price is Right fun to watch. For many people, he was the face of a day off of school. He was always passionate about animal rights issues. Can't say I'm surprised by his passing as hasn't been seen in public for a long time now. R.I.P. Bob and thanks for the great memories. Would've loved to have seen him make 100 like Betty White.

My late grandparents went to school with Gene. He's from my hometown of Toledo, Ohio. The airport there was renamed after him 2 years ago, and he was on hand for the dedication. He looked OK and well enough to travel then, but haven't heard anything recently. Anything can happen at that age.

That's shocking. Hopefully, the revival will still happen.

What a shock to me. If you've been at any dance or wedding for over the past 20 years, you've no doubt heard the Cha Cha Slide numerous times. I knew he was sick, but didn't know he was that sick. In an interview in May, Casper when discussing his battle said that if "you're struggling with cancer, keep on doing the Cha Cha Slide. I had no idea he was 58. May he R.I.P.

What a complete shock. Per a Variety article, he was developing two new Pee-Wee projects at the time. TMZ says he was successfully able to have a brain tumor removed a few years ago, but wasn't sure what type of cancer caused his death. I liked how he spoke to himself referring to his death. Saw one of his movies and laughed at so many points. We're losing our comedy legends. R.I.P. Pee-Wee.

I must say, when Norman does leave this Earth, it will be the end of an era in Classic TV. Many of his fellow producers, creators, directors and actors who have starred in his shows have preceded him. I can't think of any other classic TV creator still alive right now. At least he seems perfectly comfortable when his time comes.

Recovering, but Tori says she's very scared and heartbroken over blood clots. Doctors also found clots around her heart. Her next album drops Friday, and she says she's very excited. Seems like quick timing might've helped her survive.
