I remember watching the World Billiards final last year. The commentators said Clive Everton was due to attend but was too ill to do so. That and the last snooker documentary I saw had Clive on and he clearly had Parkinson's. So not a surprise. If you want to pay tribute, buy his book "Black Farce And Cue Ball Wizards". It'll tell you what snooker was really like during both its glory and dismal years.
