I reckon in "Young Frankenstein", what identified the moster mostly was having Abby Normal's brain... Although Inga, bursting out in "Oh, Sweet Mistery of Life" at the end, most likely thinks it's "other parts of anatomy"
-
Well, who can blame him. 10cm... I'm pretty sure my body would reject that as well
-
Well, Mr Godot, let me put this to you: If various transplants are performed (head, body and "other parts of anatomy"), and the head states "Hey guys! I'm back and check out this part of my anatomy!", who would I be to contradict him, coz I recognise the tattoo on his arm? Oh, and gratitude never was my forte

_______________________ Lashings of thought provoking stuff by other DL'ers................. _______________________ So my original answer still stands. No. Wouldn't it actually be the head having a body transplant?

Okay, allow me to kick it off. I'm still not sure if I'm at home here. Is this place mostly morbid and are people obsessed with death? Perhaps "occupied" being a friendlier word... Is there real discussion here on the meaning of life and therefore of death? Can people argue why death is something normal, in fact just as normal as life and that mortality and the whole discussion thereof is not the issue? After all, aren't we all just a random dance of atoms, just like a rock, or indeed the sun? What is "life"? Define "death". What am I doing here? Or is that sort of discussion not within the realms of this forum?

First thing I did was google cory lidle to see if this site would be on the first page This site has a strange way of getting to me...

Although it is not the true intent, I do find it representative of not being able to say goodbye (let go)...

I must say one of my favourite scenes in movies is the scene in Kill Bill, where Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu (as the Bride and O Ren Ishii) have their sword fight in the garden. The snow, the light, the water dripping down, everything is just to die for

Yes, Chagall. La Promenade. I first considered a Dali (Visage of War), but thought that a bit obvious in hindsight. Well spotted, Handrejka.

Not quite what I had in mind, but the gesture is much appreciated. Anyways, I gotta clock out. Be good now.

So, I suppose my next move is finding myself a morbid avatar, right guys? - sN-word

Bummer. Just as I thought this was indeed a forum that would spicen up my thoughts on certain matters, something like this happens. Apollo: I am not German, nor do I see the point in raising nationality as an issue. Quite dissapointing as well, I must admit, to see that Apollo's provocative post immediatelyt gets three replies, whereas my posts barely got any retort initially. But perhaps that's just my attention seeking ego kicking in...
