  1. Probably won’t receive any mainstream media coverage, but one for the Ufology buffs; UFO contactee Howard Menger dead age 87.

    Quote:

"Later that year, an attractive young woman named Connie Weber appeared at one of Menger’s gatherings. He thought that she was the reincarnation of a blond spacewoman that he had known (in the biblical sense) in a previous life on Venus. He soon left his first wife and family to begin a new life of lectures and touring on the Contactee circuit"

  2. Ja Dank Vera Lynn…andernfalls würde ich jetzt auf Deutsch schreiben….

;):( this is a sick site for sick people, hopefully others will feel the same about you lot when your dead and gone, the people you all heckle over on this site are people who have made a huge historical imapact on our lives wether you like them or not, there would be a very boring existence without the entertainment, and helping to make this world a more tolerable place to be, with exception of course of those names who tried in the past to make it less tolerable like warmongers etc.

Vera lynn was there to give some hope and support to those who fought for this country , you could BARELY imagine how it must have been for those soldiers, those that fell and those families who perished would wonder what they sacrificed thier lives for if could have read comments on a pathetic site like this from those who cowardly write such demeaning rubbish. I stumbled across this to find a site to pay tribute to someone, god knows how I came across this place, the site that crawled out of the gutter and am only leaving this comment as obviously as a minority here I stand up for those who cannot speak out because they are not with us and those who would not find this site worthy of a comment or need to justify themselves. shame on you all, no doubt expect the usual cowardly comments to follow this, but those who do are naturally uncomfortable with themselves, so you should be.

  3. I've read most of his books. Cosmic Trigger, Quantum Psychology & The Thing That Ate the Constitution are, I think, good books even for those not interested in ‘Counter Culture’.

There was a film 'Maybe Logic' about his work out in 2003 that is worth watching.

  4. PW Botha was the greatest and most decent leader that Afica has ever seen. As a young man serving in the early eighties South African defence force I very proud to have served under him. When PW Botha reingned South Africa was decent Christian country with peace and prosperity even the Kaffirs lived well and their needs were taken care of. How many blacks that I have spoken to have said to me that under Apartheid things were better for them.

I make no pretence of it I dont want to live near blacks I cant stand them, they stink, are stupid, ugly and behave like animals they break and steal everything that their black eyeballs see.

Does this mean that I wish them ill or want to kill them, no they too have right to live on God's earth but they must be kept in check or they will destroy you.

If white South Africans had done what Americans and Austrailians have done to their indigineous populations

we would have had no problems.

It is because white South Africans were to decent to kill all blacks that they are being murdered, raped and robbed by these black animals.

To the homosexuals, illuminati money grabbers of London, left wing journolists, scum bag thief ANC officials,

Satanists that control the media and filthy islamic sh*t that is growing in England. If you had one percent of the intelligence, wisdom, itegrityand courage of PW Botha you would understand what has happened in South Africa.

When PW stepped down South Africa was finished. Today South Africa is reaping a terrible harvest of murders, destruction that will end in famine and collapse just like the rest of Africa.

Yes come for the world cup 2010 see what will happen to you.

I think it's great that a very busy man like Sepp Blatter can take the time to post on here to promote good will for the 2010 World Cup

  5. Slighty off topic...

I was checking wikipedia for news of Lee Majors (FF's ex-hubby of course) to see if his health is on the slide.

Anyway, it's good to see that Lee was a hardcore supporter of womens rights

    Quote:

"Majors has been married four times, but his most famous marriage was to actress Farrah Fawcett, another 1970s pop icon. In 1976 Majors and Fawcett made TV history by being a husband and wife who sumultaneously starred in separate top-rated shows (The Six Million Dollar Man (Majors) and Charlie's Angels (Fawcett)). They were married from July 28, 1973 to February 16, 1982, but they separated in 1979. They broke up because Majors wanted his spouse to be home with him in the evenings when she often needed to work on her show. The producers of her show made some concessions—for example she was allowed to leave the set to prepare dinner for Majors every evening—but eventually the demands of both their careers proved too onerous and they parted ways"

Did Farah appear on the set the next morning saying that the bruising is due to a fall on the stairs and she will get Lee's chicken fried quicker next time :D

  6. Jeffrey Holland???? Oh, the shame of it :skull:

Around 1990/91 I was working for a London Hotel, Jeffery Holland stayed and on checking out tried to avoid paying for his mini bar bill. When I insisted he pay for his thirsty habit he pulled out the 'Don't you know who I am?' routine.

The drunk that can't afford to pay for his mini bar bill was my reply. I was sacked for being rude to a guest, but it was worth it. I'll take that sort of thing from the likes of Madonna but Jeffery F*****g Holland

  7. Definitely - she is a gold-digging, attention-seeking liar! Re Macca, there's no fool like an old fool (as the saying goes).

True, but I've got to hand it to her; she is very successful at being a gold digging, attention-seeking liar (in a world full of)

My mother conditioned me to be unassuming and truthful –

Now I would need NASA to calculate the shortfall between my bank account and Heather’s

  8. Indeed DBF, I'd heard a rumour of throat cancer for singer Dave Bartram but couldn't find any hard evidence to link here. Do you know more than me?

Couldn't find anything about fatal illness and Dave, but on wikipedia I found the the following: -

    Quote:

"Members of Showaddywaddy still campaign tirelessly for the welfare of orphan children in the town of Hastings, in Kent"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Showaddywaddy

I never knew that Hastings had such a serious orphan problem :skull:

I would suggest that SWW's place in Heaven is assured for this sterling work, after all they were only three steps away from it back in the '70's :pop:

Madonna could have adopted a kid from Hastings instead of Malawi.

I'm sure Madonna would have insisted on a receipt for the Malawi kid. When she gets bored she can take the child back and head for Hastings...

  10. Had a look at McGoohan's Wiki profile.

An interesting titbit was that he turned down the roles of Drumbledore

    and Gandalf for health reasons.

Make of that what you may....

Well, Lord of the Rings makes me feel :) sick....

  11. The Rewind Tour. Showaddywaddy, The Osmonds, David Essex and David Cassidy, preparing to hit Britain next year. I mean, I know that sh*t in Iraq is out of order but surely we don't deserve this! If anyone has mental strength beyond the norm they could turn up and check out the relative health of those on stage.

Showaddywaddy - perhaps a farewell tour before some members go for a little walk under the moon of death :)
