    The Deathlisters Alternative Footie Thread

Piss off. I didn't wish you well. I wanted to win the league. Not that I'm a bad loser or anything like that. . . . and I wasn't trying very hard. You would think it boring if I kept winning everything! DWB Thank-you LG. The others... humpft! As for trying very hard, I did the least this season, forgot more than several times and it seems that, that did the trick for me. I must have been overworking them. There is probably something written into the program if you pick Frenchies expect apathy and ennui. Anyway, I don't know if the others just ignore this thread so perhaps someone should place this announcement elsewhere but... Would anybody care to join us at xperteleven.com in a sort of championship manager (er perhaps, I've never played it being a girl and all), fantasy football type game if you are not too busy playing funnyfarmville? Please? It doesn't require much effort, but you do have to regularly make a few tweaks unless you want to be trounced. Or are you all too scared of being beaten by the ladies?
  3. Seconded, regards, Hein Thirded Motion approved. HBNAP!

Firstly how on Earth can anyone spend TWO WEEKS holidaying in Portsmouth? Secondly what was that thing about forgiveness and Christianity again? I think the Oasis centre may need reminding. Or is it one of those multifaith thingies that can pick and choose the best bits? Anyway, two weeks. Jesus, the guy must still be crazy.

Fair point, all politicians being a crock of shit and all. Anyway, looks like it didn't take them long to get back to their good old family values that they hold in high esteem. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics...g-adultery.html

Looks like the Lib Dems need to be in here for a deception of the highest order. Looks like all us poor sods that voted Lib Dem because we didn't want to vote for the cuntservatives have probably effectively voted for the cunts. Bastards. I want a referendum not on the alternative vote but the ability to elect our PM ourselves. Gutted.

I'm as Clueless as you MH about Mormon pants, but I've a topical photo to try and kick start the almost dead and buried caption competition.

    UK General Election 2010

I've actually voted for him. Twice. I'm begining to wonder about Hampshire as Stephen Milligan's constituency was adjacent to Oaten's.

    UK General Election 2010

Anyone for a bit of swinging? RSC General Election Maths Quiz EDIT: Bit unsure about the end of Q6 - I make total salt 48 g not 44 g although the 4 g difference does correspond to something pertinent in my calculations so I may be having language issues around the 'within a total of 44 grams of salt' part.

You learn something new everyday. Whilst on the search for Montgomery I came across this snippet of information (semi NSFW). Anyway, one of the Monty's I'd had in mind:

(S)he clearly wants to buy a copy of Christopher Lee's heavy metal album, , although I never knew Christopher Lee was friends with Sting. If I've broken the code, what do I win?

Remind me, how much does a house in Sandbanks fetch these days? Perhaps when he twitches he is just squirrelling away another million. [Enter tumbleweed]

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2011

This doesn't seem very fair, why wasn't the bull granted the privilege of performing, wikipedia informs me, a tercio de muerte on the matador? I was in Nimes a few years ago during the feria and, caught up in the atmosphere, came close to buying a ticket with all the other foolish tourists. I'm so glad my conscience won out.

And AFC Bournemouth will be there, too. A 32 year old manager and a playing squad of just 19, coupled with a transfer embargo for the entire season. The best we can hope for is staying in League One, but we'll embarrass someone (hopefully Scumpton) along the way. And good luck to Workington - I can just remember when they fell out of the league - replaced by Wigan, I believe. Well done to The Cherries despite your malicious wishes for next season I hope you do stay up. You never know the following season you could be playing Portsmouth as we pass them as they follow in our recent footsteps with a sorry descent down the leagues. Strangely, whilst we are on the subject of the mighty Saints, I've not seen any comments from Maryport about the JPT or yesterday for that matter, better luck next year hey MPFC?
  19. You got drunk on two cans of lager? You must be a cheap date. ;-) Well that depends... Are you implying that SC is a midget? Careful, as he may have to field some unwanted(?) attention from Mr Creamy. Who I believe dreams of participating in some dwarf tossing.
