Only 4? Very generous I thought! DWB

Rick, I completely agree with not being on the list due to illness, it was just posted as a watching brief, nothing more. Specifically though, does someone who has their own TV show in the USA, possess the qualifications to pass the DL famousity test? Just testing the opinions on the subject really. DWB

IMHO cricket is the most mind-boggling of all sports. Except chess perhaps. Or Rubiks Cube. DWB -

Do You Believe In Ghosts?
Death Watch Beatle replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Actually, you'll find photographic evidence in historical archives that ghosts can appear in Victorian garb, 1970's gear and indeed in the outfit of a medieval jester... So, are we saying that when you die and come back as a ghost, you have to be wearing exactly what you had on when you died, or can you move with the times? Obviously if the former is true that Conservative MP who died during kinky sex-games with an orange in his mouth is sure going through hell at the moment! DWB Sorry about the naff joke. -

A nice photo of very inactive member "Custard" there. Hey Janeo, whatever happened to Custard? - didn't work in the same place or something? DWB -
I don't advise joining it though! DWB

Why do ghosts have to wear Victorian garb? What happened to all the folks that died in the 1970s? Do they come back wearing huge flares and F**k-off collars on their shirts? Also, people who claim to be in touch with the spirit world go awfully quiet when they die (if you see what I mean). DWB -

I think he has retired because he has got the hump over the cricket coverage going to sky. Don't think he is ill in anyway. Similar consideration should be given to Murray Walker perhaps? DWB -

Place: West London Time: Tea on the 2nd Day Weather: Really nasty black clouds in every direction, no rain yet, but here's hoping! DWB -
Born in Central London, but gone posh and now lives in West London. Expanding family means bigger residence is now required, which will probably mean a move further West. (Can't afford anything bigger anywhere near London!) DWB

You are honoured. We at the DL usually reserve such a title for members reaching 800 posts. Mr. Josco will explain. DWB

I can do that. Does that get me an "A" in the new exams? No, it's just a deferred grimace! DWB

I've never really got the hang of character assassinations. My attempts always sound like sour-grapes. Sorry, am I going off topic? DWB

Surely not with your nose, and look at those ears! DWB

Let's just say, that if it was British, I wouldn't complain! DWB

I agree. Paris is a good place to visit. However, I find Parisians very, very rude people. I have a number of friends (both British and French) who live in various French locations outside of the capital and they also think Parisians give the French a bad name. Otherwise I have no problems with our green cousins - and the lucky gits have just about everything you need in a country. DWB What's that then, political extremism, high unemployment, crap wines and shitty shop opening hours. I was thinking of the 'country' itself, not the local customs. Decent skiing, excellent beaches in the South, perfect wine producing regions, that sort of thing. Politics and shop opening hours are always changable. DWB
