Not sure if this is the right thread, but just found out one of my old primary school teachers died last month. I'm quite sad about it really as he was a good bloke and I have fond memories of him. I was actually back home when his funeral was on, but didn't know otherwise I would have gone. R.I.P Mr H.

I have never intentionally watched and episode of Friends but it was hard to avoid. It's not my thing but I sort of get the appeal. I've not seen enough of The Office to make a judgement on that but I hated Extras so can't imagine I would enjoy it. The longevity and popularity of Not Going Out is the one which baffles me.

I remember Dustin Gee's death really well. A girl in my class at school had some sort of connection to the panto he was starring in at the time (think she may have been a dancer in it) which made it seem more real somehow. I also remember his last series with Les Dennis being shown posthumously which I found strangely fascinating.

I remember that, I think one of the McGanns was in it. Jake will always be the alternative Dave Lister to me. R.I.P

I know about half of them, which is standard for me. I want to know what Shirley has done to piss off wardrobe.

It was similar in my Merseyside household. My dad hated it, my nan loved it, my mum and I watched it because we fancied Peter Howitt and Victor Maguire respectively. We had the same wall paper in our bathroom that they had in their kitchen which amused me more than anything in the show.
