  1. Oooh, I have a great idea. How about we keep count of those who have been mentioned so far? And perhaps extend to those who died in previous years? We can even have a target like, say, one million folks!!!!!!

The way 2016 has been going we're heading towards a million or so it seems...

  2. T-Mib: has the increased DL usage and the increased press attention on celebrity morbidity this year seen a jump up in entries?

Well, in the run up to Christmas I would say that entries were a little down on recent years. But it's certainly been healthy since judging by the emails coming in.

Too early to say whether there will be a boost...

  3. Yup, that's on the agenda. Tommorrow then Thursday and at the same time tackle the entries. Or do I have one mega update tomorrow so I can leave a whole 2 evenings for the entries before I go away for the new year?

    Decisions, decisions...

  4. Loads of tributes on Twitter from other famous faces.

However, none as yet from Harrison Ford.

Is a simple tweet of 'She was the best fuck I have ever had' totally beyond the heartless bastard?

Because she was the 2nd best after Karen Allen?

  5. Hmm. Seems like I contradicted myself!

If we're going strictly by the letter of the law, then it's video link (as in Sky News etc) and both Kallen and Tomita are not and I did say that BBC programmes was not on the list. There's enough bait on the bbc website for any fish to get hooked onto as it is...

Perhaps I had too much Christmas sherry!

I'm reversing the decision - Tomita remains obit-less!

  6. Let's thumb through the rules, shall we?

Video links are only accepted if the strapline mentions the celebs passing

    Strapline says:

Jamie is joined by tenor Nicholas Sharratt from Scottish Opera's production of The Mikado. Singer and actress Barbara Dickson chooses her My Music, and there's a rarity from the late Japanese composer Isao Tomita.

    Yep, that'll do!
