You've lost me completely on the last line. I think without a doubt CNN should be included as an obituary source. It's CNN which is only one of the most gratified news corporations in the world today... If you want too see the way Derby Dead Pool should be ran talking-obituaries just go check out the rules section of The Canadian Paul Dead Pool.
-
And ... a major announcement. The Derby Dead Pool organizers have resigned and one of the greatest competitions is now thrown up at random and I can only express my concern that it falls in the hands of a responsible human being. I've made my argument of what the official board of rules should read and if Triple O decides to take over the DDP, I'm confident that he will make the adjustments for a better game and most importantly that the base of the game itself will live on in the same order it originated. Now since 'I'm not British' I would love to overtake the Derby Dead Pool more then anything but being rational 'it would be a huge responsibility' and in reality I wouldn't want five hundred lists E - Mailed to me. I would like to see the obituary sources extended and mainly any executions either banned or any executions point-value minimized. I look forward to see who in fact the next organizer or 'organizers' are and I wish Rude Kid and Siegfried Baboon luck in the future. O and I say the wooden wall paper gets f****n teared down! Times are changing! Paint it black!

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2007
Banshees Scream replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I'll tell you what to do while waiting for a death. .. Let me tell you. You look out the window while you wait, you look at yourself. You look at what you've done, what must be done, what is, what is to be, what stands, what awaits, what matters, what doesn't matter, what exists, and from there you spectate. Now ladies and gentleman you can live by any code you choose and any philosophy that invites you but hear me now, life is what you make it and life is taking what you've done and what is and placing it to your own perceived standards. What can we all do while waiting for a death ... the common question and common it is ... a million answers to one question. The question itself has more value then it's answer because the answer itself is like the answer to many questions and that is nothing. Death is one, life is many and many an opinion. This thread is freedom of speech, freedom of category and freedom of interest. -
Thread titles are slogans because thread titles advertise the base of the conversation, just as commercials advertise products or just as magazines advertise lies, or just as comedy advertises humour, or occasionally humour that doesn't make people laugh. I just have no idea why this threads slogan advertises the opposite purpose of this thread all together. I think ideas and possibilities are just that, just as I say them and the reason the main exact 'reason' I usually don't contribute to this ideas and possibility thread is because at the show down of consideration I feel my ideas won't be taken into possibility because they won't be read. This whole thread is like writing a thousand words on a wall, you will only read a few of them.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2007

The guy is obviously an asshole and I sympathize for these people because they were treating him like a neighbor and one of these days he is going to load a dozen Hispanics in his truck and 'half of them' are going to be legal citizens. Now when this happens 'and I can only visualize' that these man will have hammers of steel and other potentially hazardous tools and one of these days I can only expect that his truck widows will be shattered and maybe he will get raped by a crowd of angry legal Hispanic people who were expecting work instead of a racist practical joke. I mean I can see the humor at some extent of bringing 'illegal immigrants' to the immigration office, but since this guy is obviously a real racist and 'open' about it 'making fun of the language ex' it ruins the whole ordeal. -
To sum it up George H.W. Bush is (jumping out of helicopters) and to be honest I wouldn't have the grape fruits to pull a stunt like that, not now, and not at eighty. I see Jimmy Carter as one of the laid back presidents and of course one of the better in his time. I think he has couple good years left to borrow.

Are We Going To Keep Any Of These For Next Year?
Banshees Scream replied to Rotten Ali's topic in DeathList Forum
I actually agree with whatch ya talkin' about here nephew. It's aggravating because it's not like every Castro ranter has something new to talk about. I also don't get how at least 2\3 of the ranters always have every letter capitalized... I don't know does communism make people yell? Is that a side effect of communism? On a realistic level I can agree Fidel Castro shouldn't be on next years list, but if number 48\49 is empty we could give dictator Fidel Castro a little home down at the rug of the list. And that's it. That's where it stands. -
Are We Going To Keep Any Of These For Next Year?
Banshees Scream replied to Rotten Ali's topic in DeathList Forum
Just as this thread symbolizes a true factor and a possible impact on next years list I think after 'if anything' a bizarre year since I mean 'Everybody died in July' maybe it's time the selections go a little more out of bounds instead of sticking to the usual Deathlist standard. From day one I've never been for surviving 'WW1' veterans or 'Titantic Survivors' for example because I feel people known for surviving dramatic events in world history are only famous for that reason, and no other. It's great for DDP but not here, so I think definitely they should be off limits. I feel about four or five centurions is great but if I could have any candidate from this list excluded it would be without a doubt Ruby Muhammad. Now all of a sudden there is evidence that she is ten years younger ... so basically she jerked everybody off. It pisses me off because obviously she knows her age is one hundred and it's like she wants to advertize the idea of her longevity in Islam .. 'Hey look' I'm in the grace of god! .... It's bullshit and if she don't drop dead this year I say we tip her chair. Now this years list originally had some obvious faults to it but Castro being first on the board was four stars by me, only four because he didn't die. I mean back in January I was even convinced - Between the media and the celebrations in Cuba it had to be one of the greatest death show downs ever, only it didn't happen. I think Senator Tim Johnson and Piper were a gamble but I guess at the time they weren't a bad idea but 'between those who are reading' overall he always draws together impressive lists 'or at least I think so' but GR is not really the MVP of picking last minute candidates ... I'm sorry. Alfredo di Stefano didn't do it either. For next year I think all the greats who survive this year should remain 'Even Castro at the bottom' but I feel the more successful the list is the better a forum there will be. If www.deathlist.net had twenty hits, that is more people searching Google and more people being brought here. I'm not sure if anybody has noticed, but in the past couple months the contribution to this forum hasn't been at a volume with sound like it always has been. I think even as it could have been worse, this list isn't finished yet but at this rate 'we are lucky' it hits double digits. Talking next year there are plenty quality names ready for DL fame and I'm expecting improvement and I hope the committee takes some of my advice and the advice of others in upcoming weeks. The bottom line is any cancer or dementia is where the money is and look 'I don't want Deathlist' to become DDP - But I think selections should all be estimated along the lines of fame and health, so basically 'not every link DDT posts' since even as most of them are excellent 'not everybody knows who Archbishop Christodoulos is ...... or His Eminence Francis Eugene Cardinal George is .. and the list hits the floor I'm looking forward to what is to be seen and I had to get this out of me. -
Figures - the other day I was actually considering him for DDP but this way it makes my competitive approach a lot easier. It narrows down the names and most of all it minimizes the guilt of leaving promising candidates off.

Are We Going To Keep Any Of These For Next Year?
Banshees Scream replied to Rotten Ali's topic in DeathList Forum
Listen Rotten Ali, this is how I place it. Karl Malden - Olivia de Havilland - Patrick Moore all remain for age-related purposes. Abe Vigoda still makes appearances on 'Leno?' Maybe Letterman? I doubt he will make any difference remaining here. I saw Jake Lamotta recently on some boxing audio biography, and he looked about eighty. I think other female celebrities hold a better chance then Vera Lynn like 'Louis Rainer' or 'Phyllis Diller' or 'Estelle Getty' have a better chance of flashing us what we want to see. Eli Wallach is still acting and I think it's only rational to leave him off. The same goes for Gore Vidal and this person Ian Smith who I've never heard of in my life until recently. I have some excellent Deathlist selections in mind, at least twenty five real - probable names (For Deathlist) and I plan to share them in the upcoming weeks. I think next year should be revolutionary, at least a record breaking year. -
You know, it really escapes.

Captain, I've heard of this man but I only recognized him from the picture with 'himself and Fidel Castro' I thought maybe I didn't make myself clear on the leadership paragraph. The reason I wrote 'banging fists on the podium' was because I felt like a dictator saying what I said 'for some reason'. I think all people are on the same level as individuals, not mentioning how much 'money' somebody makes or how much 'class' somebody has. I feel we are all equal and nobody should lay down to a person who tries to dictate or persuade your value or your place. I think being 'your own person' in so many words is the way 'and the only way' and that's how I see it Captain.
-
... (Bangs fists on the podium)

Says who? Who says the word 'class' has only one definition? The word 'class' in my view represents the sophistication of a character, I believe sophistication can be purchased. The word 'class' itself can't be categorized, for people of all backgrounds and people of all generations and personalities have a different perception of what the word 'class' spells out to mean. I think the word 'Class' can be compared to 'Heaven' or 'Hell' or even 'Love and Hate' or even more commonly in my eyes the word 'Death' - The only difference is we have seen class and class comes down to an opinion. A characteristic of class 'to me' is an individual who puts their glass down to the table without it making a single sound. Class at it's finest.

Don't people still talk about Mary Magdalene? -
No Shaina Twain, Lady Grendel. I'm not sure where the committee is going with this alternative list, I feel it should compile of celebrities under sixty five who at least 'hold a chance' of giving out in 2008. I see it as just 'one hit' will be the extravaganza of the year, think Anna Nicole Smith. I don't think expectations should be any higher then that 'or should they be?' If this list is only for 'I hate him\her' purposes, then on your part Lady Grendel- Shaina Twain wouldn't be a problem.
-
I hands down agree with you on that. I think Ichiro is one of the greatest contact hitters in the game, not to mention one of the greatest hitters ever. I think if he would have played the first decade of his career at the major league level he would be on legendary ground, even at chance to achieve the title of most hits ever. My point is a majority of Japanese players don't live up to their contracts, and I could name more examples backing that up then I can name players who have been better then what they have demonstrated in Japan.

Godot, as far as heavenly whore house fantasies go 'talking in general' I see you are only speaking for Halibut pedophiles. Hugh Hefner has a gigantic luxurious home, the finest menu and most of all beautiful women surrounding him at every waking moment. How can you not call that 'what could be' heaven on earth (or just heaven?) I'm not hearing you man. Every guy who uses his imagination is jealous of Hefner at some limit. I think he has bought his best girls cars for example, but I don't think he pays them straight up cash in exchange for 'come live with me' The women want to live with him. They devote themselves to him, and because of this we won't see him as a Deathlist candidate until 2017.

It all comes down to the fact of MLB being the most dominant and respected league in the world. The players of Japan are very talented, but it's not like ten players from America are hustling to Japan to sign four year - multi - million dollar contracts. For any basic talent from Japan baseball in the US will get them eye brow raising contracts, even if they spend it in the minor leagues like Kei Igawa of the Yankees for example. The reason why players of Japan have such high value is because of their experience, but even more so because they have gone unseen by the current players in MLB. A Japanese pitcher has the edge. The only problem with players of Japan is they usually don't live up to the standards of what their contract reads. Bostons Daisuke Matsuzaka for example signed a contract that 'could be' worth up to 60 million dollars. It's f****n incredible, since the guy only won fifteen games with a high ERA on a Boston Red Sox team. Anyway, I expect around ten Japanese players to be on the market this winter. All who are overrated, and all who will be overpaid.

I don't think Paul McCartney 'has the grapefruits' to live the Hefner lifestyle, it's all wasted on him. Give him 'a players mind' and he would probably buy a rappers mansion and gather up ten or twelve 'pet house pets. If I met Hugh Hefner I would ask him 'How?' did you get all these beautiful women to live with you, not why. I mean he dreamt up Playboy but that doesn't exactly tell you how he obtained what most Halibuts think they will be getting in heaven.

A drum beats Happy Halloween Fellatio Nelson! Great costume then. I knew you would be something very jazzy\flamboyant. I'm allowing myself as much candy as I desire tonight.

Of course she is a gold digger. She made sure that she married McCartney 'who is blind as a f****n bat' and that he didn't go through those papers that ;if; a divorce was finalized 'she wouldn't get half of the money' Because obviously she convinced him that they would always be together 'fast forward' cough 'lying gold digger' they are divorced and being a gold digger she is now loaded with half of his money, and if Paul was looking for a one legged experience he should have just kept it away from wedding rings and the church. That's the bottom line.

116 years old? Forbidden. 116 years old? Tempting - No. 116 years old? I wonder how much the family sold it for.
