There's no way that's real though. You expect them to have accurate records in Nigeria?

Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?

I have to say one thing... you were real fools not to include Jade on the 2009 list. She was such an obvious pick, like a sitting duck. I know that the terminal diagnosis was only announced in January, but she'd nonetheless have been a better pick than Kim-Jong Il, Captain Beefheart, and Margaret Thatcher. I bet none of those three die this year. And now that you've taken J. D. Salinger off, he probably will die. Sod's law.

If I do make a list, and she survives the year, then my 2010 list she will be on.

It was in Africa. Hence, the number of deaths doesn't matter so much to the mainstream/Western media.

I think the one thing that we are all wondering is how long is Henry Allingham gonna last? Will he make it to oldest man in the world? (Tomojo Tanabe would have to die first) Or the oldest person in the UK (that woman, just checking her name, Florrie Baldwin, would have to die first)? Either or both of these remain distinct possibilities. Oldest person in the world is unlikely but that Emiliano Mercado del Toro guy managed it, and he was male at the top of a list of women, although didn't last long as world's oldest. But then one day, you'll find out that Henry Allingham has died. Sometime, it will happen. And the game of following supercentenarians on Wikipedia will have lost one of its most interesting players. I think this picture sums up what we all want to happen though. I'm not even English but I think it'd be cool to see him, a World War I veteran, get this far... But he would have to live to the end of 2018 for that to happen, and that would be incredible.

Talking of older American politicians, see this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/7841151.stm Also, DeathList may wish to consider - is there a chance that Obama will be the victim of an assassination attempt? Stranger things have happened, and he could be a prime target for the most extreme skinhead/KKK types...

Who's Going To Be Around For A While?
Ageless Immortal Giant replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList Forum
Giving birth to the Devil incarnate certainly helps her longevity... She would be an excellent pick for DeathList simply due to her age. I personally think she'd be a much better choice than Kim-Jong Il. -
If there is any significant news about his health, he should be included for the 2010 deathlist.

The Second 2009 Success Poll
Ageless Immortal Giant replied to themaninblack's topic in DeathList Forum
Not directly relevant to this poll but relevant to death list overall: it seems like last year with its record-equalling score may end up being a difficult one to beat. There are good choices here on the list for sure, but every year some major ones are missed, and the majority of the people on the list remain alive. I think there were a lot of good hits that passed away last year, making 2009 a more difficult prospect. And with some it's totally ambiguous. Like Kim-Jong Il, he could be dead already and his government is just covering it up. -
Well, her husband lived to almost 90... not that she's genetically related, but somehow I don't think she'll die soon.
