reportedly dead Hakimullah Mehsud and his Successors
Going Underground replied to time's topic in DeathList Forum
May I commend you on your fine choice of a DDP pick! I wonder if the attack took place on the 13th or 14th of the month? I take it you have Mehsud too DDT? By what DP moniker do you go by? Just read that the Pakistani Taliban are denying Mehsud was hit They would do that wouldn't they. Maybe Wali-Ur-Rehman and Qari Hussain were in the compound at the same time giving me a treble hit. Has anyone ever had 3 in one day. I dream on. -

Another US Drone attack in Northern Pakistan. Target was reportedly Hakimullah Mehsud - Wonder if they (and me) got a hit. I doubt it. US Drone Attack -

Was just off to bed to catch some ZZZZZZ's as this thread caught my eye. First Z name to enter my head was Lena Zavaroni. WOW..that name is a blast from the past i thought. Wonder what she is up to now? Let's have a see what wiki says. Lena died from Anorexia in 1999. She was also caught stealing a 50p pack of Jelly early in 1999. If she had got away with that act of theft she may have eaten the jelly and be with us today. She may also have got together with her childhood friend Bonnie Langford and remade Lena & Bonnie Goodnight.

Ah good old Bertie He was my unique pick for the last 2 years but not made the squad this year i'm afraid. No offence to whoever has Bertie in their team but i hope he is immortal. On the subjest of TMIB. It would be an absolute shame that the host could not compete. I used to enjoy tracking OoO's progress and would have done the same for TMIB. Get your team in and enjoy it with the rest of us!!

Great work TMIB My mate says he recieved an email last night saying site was up and running. I didnt get anything myself. Did an email go out to everyone?

TMIB Any early indications of '????? Must die' entering a team this year? Hope it's 'Jonathan Ross must die'. Not got him in my DP but i just wish he would die.

Alright Lads, Been browsing Deathlist.net for years (not very well admittedly) and never actually realized there was a DDP thread. Anyway, just been browsing the thread and noticed there's not to much interest in Sara Payne. I thought she may have generated a few picks. Ive already thanked OoO via email for a great job done and also welcomed TMIB to the helm who appears commited to the difficult job in hand. Entering my 5th year in DDP and still trying to break the top 40. It may just have happened last year if the pesky Daily Mail would have followed up the Joanne Evans cancer story with her death. No amount of obituary request letters i sent managed to change their mind. Does anyone know what the team "Gerald Ford Must Die" changed its name to when Gerald Ford..er..died? Wishing good luck to the players and Bad Luck to the nominees. Pete Team: Going Underground

12 April - Kent Douglas, 73, Canadian Ice hockey player (Toronto Maple Leafs), cancer

AbraCadaver!! (shamelessly stolen from the DDP team with that name)

Randall Bewley, American guitarist with Rock band 'Pylon' has died from a heart attack. No doubt brought on by electrocution.

Eluana Englaro is now off life support. Although this usually means good news it isn't really for Eluana and her family. UK obit anyone? The dangerous 'The Living End' has her as his joker pick.

Mamadou Dia gets a Guardian obit Unique hit for F H Reverends Mamadou Dia Obit

Joanne Evans had a cancer that only affects 1 in 10 billion. Considering the odds of winning the lottery Jackpot are 14 million to one i say that is pretty damn unlucky. Consider this...If a Lotto Jackpot winner developed a bog standard Terminal cancer would we bemoan the fact that they were picked by DDP teams? A lottery winner is famous for winning the lottery you may say and not the cancer!! But surely a person who develops bilateral Krukenberg tumours is much more of a news story than somebodypicking 6 numbered balls. It will get to a point where we are suggesting that only Oscar winners are allowed to be picked. In my mind a celebrity is not just somebody who works or has featured on TV, radio or the Arts. It is somebody who has some kind of interesting back story no matter how heart rendering it may be.

"Which casket would you like mrs Aygun?" " Could we have the solid oak Regencey with a laminated hardwood base please?" "Chilli Sauce and salad?"

Just returned from another miserable night at Anfield. Thanks to the combination of Benitez and the Daily Express' total ignorance of Joanne Evans demise, I really do have murder in mind. Unlucky no-one has Rafa or The Daily express Health section editor in their DDP.

Cheers folks. MPFC - I shall look at the Deathrace thread and inflict yet more DP anguish on myself Seriously though, its all good fun Deceased Hose, Eejit, Meet your Maker, No Noose and Wormer. I hope you've emailed the Daily Express demanding a Joanne Obit. I HAVE!!!

Hello All First post muppet here. Have been competing in the DDP for a few years now and very occasionally try to help out the DDP organizers in some way. Have even done a very very small job for OoO this week. I'm like one of those old women that makes Jam and tries to sell it church fetes and generally gets in the way and annoys people. After a superb start thanks to my long term pick of Claiborne Pell i noticed my Joker pick Joanne Evans had sadly passed away. Through my tears i realized that i could take comfort in the fact and adding the Dai Llewellyn hit I may just hit the top 3 of the DDP. However, the Daily Express have seriously made my eyes water with fury at how they run a story on Mrs Evans Cancer plight then simply ignore the fact that she loses her battle. Can somebody still win it when their Joker pick doesn't get an Obit? I think not. Anyway, looking forward to posting some more and having the banter.
