Crossover episodes. I can see the appeal of them for programme makers, and they're probably fine for regular broadcast TV, but for binge-watching old stuff on streaming services (like I do) it doesn't work. It's annoying to watch an episode of something then find the concluding part is an episode of a different programme that isn't being streamed anywhere.

Better Call Saul aired streamed the first 2 episodes last night, it didn't disappoint. Derry Girls S3e2, as expected, laugh out loud funny. Inside No. 9 s7 begins tonight, but I have a thing on, so will have to watch on catch-up - no spoilers! -

No context Brits is one of those accounts which steals other peoples posts and passes them of as their own. Oh you meant the actual tweet - I guess dabbing the brakes like that causes people's heads to nod, so in effect all the passengers are agreeing that they're all cunts. Not as big a cunt as the driver, though. -

Cleo Sylvestre is 77 today; starting out as a singer, she recorded with the Rolling Stones but gave it up to concentrate on an acting career which encompassed such diverse roles as Meg Richardson's adopted daughter in Crossroads (the first regular black character on British TV), a concubine in Doctor Who and roles in Ken Loach's productions of the 1960s, amongst dozens of other credits. -
It's a difficult one - appearing as oneself in a film ought to disqualify them, but I don't know about appearing in X other roles is the right criterion. If Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had only ever appeared in Airplane, and was selected, would he be disqualified because he hasn't appeared in enough other roles? Murdock is undoubtedly an acting role & Kareem is definitely acting! Stan Lee and Alfred Hitchcock were by no stretch of the imagination actors, but both appeared in have numerous acting credits to their name.

Its 57 years since the death of Syd Chaplin, aged 80. He was the older half-brother of Charlie (and died on Charlie's 76th birthday), who got him into Fred Karno's company setting his career in motion.. Syd & Charlie played in some of the same movies together, but Syd left the screen behind to become Charlie's manager. He also formed America's first private airline, The Syd Chaplin Airline Company.
