It is! An ever-present I think, patience is a virtue! Two hits and not even the end of January. (If only Ron Jones had hung in there for a couple more days). ETA, maybe I should wait for a QO before I celebrate too much.

Dick Halligan of Blood Sweat & Tears, dead at 78. Seems appropriate to include this.

One of her early major roles was that of Catherine Parr in The Six Wives of Henry VIII; three of the six are already dead (natural causes, no beheadings) but in addition to Pleasance there's Catherine of Aragon, Annette Crosbie, now 87, and Anne of Cleves, Elvi Hale (Patricia Elvira Hale), who's rapidly approaching 91. She retired from acting 30 years ago, so its possible she may go (or has gone) unheralded ( a point also raised by mpfc 6 years ago).

Bob Wellings popped up on that Dennis Nilsen programme tonight (archive footage); he's still alive and will be 88 later this year.

Should anyone wish to read any more, the local paper is doing a liveblog, thats how far the standard of journalism has fallen here. Anyhow, you can very nearly see my house in one of the photos.

Hello showrunners, good work getting the site up so rapidly. I notice that you've given my time's-up team the wrong Jim Norton, though granted I could have given a better description. To confirm, its the Irish actor (who played Len Brennan in Father Ted), born 1938, not the US comedian, born 1968 (though I will kick myself if the latter dies).

Yes, yes, yes, but where is the evidence to support your statement of "They're all lies"? I'd take the findings of the CDC over your findings any day. Also, you have failed to address the second question I asked.

I've tried the real world, didn't like it.

*Where's your evidence for this? **Are you familiar with tetanus shots?

Well, the BBC as we know it will be no more soon, as Conservative ideology does away with it's current funding model. What's next, the Armed Forces sponsored by Stark Industries?

Co-commentators on TV football coverage. It's half-time during today's televised match (Manchester City vs Chelsea) and my enjoyment of said coverage is spoilt by the non-stop whinging of Steve Mc-fucking-Manaman. I thought Andy Townsend was bad but 'Macca' takes it to a different level (which he shares with Robbie Fucking Savage). Also, as if itwsn't bad enough having one co-commentator, for this match there's also Glenn Hoddle, who is also pretty annoying. Kenneth Wolstenholme, Brian Moore, David Coleman, Hugh Johns, et al must be spinning in their graves.
