What are you doing to kill the boredom.
time replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I've been catching up with the accumulated filing that I've neglected over the past few years when I didn't have the time couldn't be arsed and also done some spring cleaning. Quentin crisp was wrong about the dust. I've also watched a few DVDs that have been sitting on the shelf for a while. I'll get back to reading soon no doubt if it drags on much longer (Whaddya mean, its only been a week?) -

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
time replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I'm currently watching Hugh Laurie (Amazon Prime Video) in House. A little formulaic, but entertaining enough nonetheless. I'm approaching the end of season 3, at which point the core team breaks up, so let's see if the replacements can maintain the standard. -
What was it previously?

Clickbait. "The famous people..." implies that it is a comprehensive list of all famous people, not a random selection of 10.

Rest assured, not all protestants behave like this. (We don't all have cupboards big enough for starters).

What's a press (!)?

A final loss of direction for prolific film director William Beaudine 50 years ago. His career spanned 50+ years and he directed an impressive 75 films in the 1940's (note that's not 75 impressive films). One of his Bowery Boys films was mistakenly nominated for an Oscar because it shared its title with a Bing Crosby/Frank SInatra/Grace Kelly film on release at the same time. He was 78 and died from acute kidney failure. (Picture: McCarthy, Todd; Flynn, Charles (1975). Kings of the Bs; Working within the Hollywood System; An Anthology of Film History and Criticism.
