His screenwriting credits include The Knack... and how toget it, The Bed-Sitting Room, and Help!, amongst others, while his TV work includes episodes of Kavanagh QC, Inspector Morse and Sharpe amongst others. His plays included Prisoner and Escort, which was written for TV but was performed on Radio and Stage before TV.
