The deathpool that pays, Cash4Cadavers has closed.
-
I realized that, but all my picks have been tossed around this forum once or twice and I don't expect to have any unique picks. If Deep Throat ever meets me in an abandoned parking lot to inform me that Putin has pancreatic cancer, I'll keep it under my hat. Yeah the early revealing kind of bothers me too. But I didnt know about Brendan Lillis before. And now I do, so...
-
So we get 20 picks if we use our ddp teams, but only 12 if we make a special team?
-
Well.... yikes... When I did my research for my Cash4Cadavers team, I saw that other teams were getting points from terminally ill children. So I decided to do as so and picked the now 6 year-old Anderson Butzine who got media attention for being visited by Brett Favre. I just went to google to check up on him, and I learned that he died July 31st. And now I feel kinda sick that I have to strike his name out on my about me page. Rest in Peace, Anderson Butzine

Im gonna do two themes. Having multiple normal teams takes the fun out of it. But it is 2012 you know.. lets make this a big year.
-
So from what I understand, we can have two theme teams this year. To make the theme team league game more exciting Im guessing?

I think Vidal Sasson would be a bad one to miss. And Im sure a good punch line could be made for him. Thats my suggestion. -
Forgot about this thread until it popped up... My last biological grandparent (a grandmother) died last Friday. Not a natural death, complicated story.

Thanks Windsor! And happy birthday, Handrejka! -
Hey MiB I was just looking back at the 2010 comp and I like how you made the "lost" hits' pictures red. A more visually appealing way of indicating that theyve died. Good idea

!!!!!! Happy belated birthday to my pool winner, Windsor! -
Any deathlisters heard about this?.... When unscrambled, the London 2012 logo spells out the word 'Zion.' It even dots the i. And when I was looking for links and pics to show you guys, I found that someone made a diagram showing that the Beijing logo apparently can also be unscrambled to say Zion. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/feb/2...mpics-logo-zion

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

I had my wisdom teeth removed today. Im sitting here on the computer with a hankee stuffed in my mouth to stop me from drooling anywhere. My wisdom teeth join the Dead of 2011. They were stuck underneath the teeth in front of them. Glad thats over with. -
Goldman Sachs executive who helped establish a Jewish historical museum, George M. Ross is dead. I almost flipped when I saw this because I thought it said George H. Ross, Donald Trump's TV sidekick who I considered for the DDP. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/14/us/14ross.html

Ok so um... if anyone wants to change the subtitle, ill give some options.... Option #1. "Their fire is dwindling" (at tribal council jeff says "fire represents life. once your fire is out, so are you") Option #2. " Time for you to go" (what jeff usually says after he snuffs the torch) Option #3. "The _______ has spoken" you could do a lot with that...

Sympathies to Bluegrass Flyer, as Grill died yesterday - http://oneoclockradio.com/main/2011/07/rob...as-passed-away/ "Sha la la la la la Live for today"???????? Damn.. I was just watching them play that in concert on YouTube the other day. -
I was also gonna say... Is there a reality television thread? If you all wanna make one if there's not already, you could merge this. edit again: if this thread isnt gonna get merged, how can i change the subtitle? when i made the thread, i felt like i had to come up with something clever and i dont really like the line i came up with..

Attention deathlisters involved in American pools... Survivor Castaway Jessica "Sugar" Kiper reveals she attempted suicide after being voted off 2010's 'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains'. Although she is best known for Survivor, she has been an active actress since 1999. She's appeared in 'Gilmore Girls' and a film called 'Sex and Death 101'. This year she joined the cast of 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' which has already lost 2 cast members this year. (Mike Starr & Jeff Conaway) Lol, sorry... Im sure the Brits probably think this thread is useless, but Survivor has over 300 former cast members, all if not most of which will surely qualify in US pools. And though only one has died so far, more of them are getting old, sick, and crazy. edit: here's a sadly/kinda funny of Sugar being attacked on her first Survivor season in '08.

Oooo are you gonna take that from someone who's only been a member since march? -
Wife of Ex-Illinois Governor George Ryan, Lura Lynn Ryan dies at 76. I thought there was a first ladies thread but I couldnt find it. I think quite a few DDP teams picked her, and I saw this one coming, but left her off because I thought no way she'll get the obit. God I hope she doesnt, if she does, that'll be another Genaro Hernandez for me. And I dont like to regret...
