    A thoroughly embarrassing episode early in my DL career involved me posting a candidate suggestion only to be told by all and sundry that they had been dead for years.

     

    After a while the post slipped down the list, and using my mighty admin. powers I banished it forever.

     

    I have genuinely forgotten who this dead person was, if I remember I will let you know.

    Strange how you could put Thatcher at the top instead of Blair-Brown, and most of the points would still hold true, and we could also add

     

    - destroyed UK manufacturing industry

    - implemented shoot-to kill policy in Northern Ireland

    - banned the broadcasting of free speech of elected Sinn Fein MP's

    - implemented Poll Tax, leading to largest civil distrubances seem in London

    - turned UK into 51st State of the USA

     

    - and on the basis of yesterday's report, bred a whole generation of killers!!! :)

    Saddam's trial may be televised

     

    I am hoping for a quick trial and execution.  Maybe he should be considered for the 2006 deathlist.

    I would just love to see his acctual trial telivised

    not reacted as in Michael Jacksons. I'm sure if he

    does get executed many of his people would enjoy to

    view it since many of them hold a great disliking to the

    former dictator.

     

    Just as a suggestion i thought perhaps the USA should

    try something new. I thought hanging Saddam in yankee

    stadium might be a very catchy idea but life in jail is a much

    more slow and painful punishment. :ph34r:

    Decided at the last minute eh? Does that mean he'll be put in front of a firing squad, and then, and only then, will it be decided to use real bullets or blanks?

    If you can include Sister Lucia, an only slightly famous nun, then surely there's no harm in including a famous "Mother Of Islam." She's certainly more promient and well known in her own church than Sister Lucia was in hers. I admit I've never heard of her but wikipedia decribes her as having an "international following of admiration", which is more than most canditadtes can say.

    And should she appear on the list, she would have an 'international following of expectation' ;)

    Amanda, I apologise for my misunderstanding, but bloody hell, I've enjoyed this immensely. I care not what the other members think, this thread is priceless.

    Not only priceless, but I am blushing thinking about some of the images that have popped into my head reading this today :lol:

     

    And it definately satisfies the DL rules of being educational and informative :)

    Can I just say that I've had my contraceptive device removed this evening and new one put in it's place. It's very painful now injection has worn off. Apparently my muscle had grown over the orignial one & they had to kind of dig it out. It was horrible.

     

    But better than child birth I should imagine.

    Excuse my ignorance, but how exactly does one exercise that muscle?

    I happen to be richard's nephew and i hope any of you who want him to be added to a list for your enjoynemt feel completely ashamed of yourselves.

    No one wants him dead, we are discussing the possibility.
