He will win there too in November, not because there is any great love for him outside of his core base but because he is not Joe Biden, replace Biden with a healthy younger democrat (not Kamala) the democrats will win

Trump will only win because his opponent is a living corpse, no other reason, dems need to dump Biden off the ballot paper

The Democrats are going to win anyway in a Biden/Trump match-up.

The simple truth is that the left will still to the Democrats in fear of Trump; the right will stick to Trump in fear of Biden; and the people in the middle…they will most likely go with Biden simply because he is the less offensive option.

I agree with the sentiment of most Americans that neither should be their respective party’s candidate in 2024. When Biden won in 2020 I thought he was a good one-term candidate. I thought he was a pretty neutral candidate (I didn’t/don’t consider him to be too far to the left) who could provide an opportunity for a reset.

It will be interesting to see how Biden campaigns this time round as in 2020 Covid restrictions probably reduced the strain of a full on campaign.

Obviously there has been no reset and we appear to be back to square one. The only good thing for Americans is that surely neither will run in 2028?

  2. Restorative justice.

Heard some of the Grenfel ‘survivors’/victims families addressing the panel. They were very rude and demanding attention.

If I was sat at that table, I’d have told them to fuck off.

    That's who is paying it.

There was a theory that Trump deliberately acted up in court precisely to ensure the Jury threw the book at him.

Having  listened to his lawyer just now that might not be so far fetched. They are ramping up the narrative that this is Biden and the Democrats rigging the system against Trump, when the reality is that Trump is just a massive cunt who was found guilty.

Don’t blame Trump, Biden has had nearly 4 years to stop the invasion of illegals, to put more money in people’s pockets, to turn the economy around, to give people hope for the future, he has done nothing, failed at everything, most useless president of my lifetime, any American voting for 4 years more of Biden is like a turkey voting for christmas

He hasn’t told Americans to inject themselves with bleach yet, so you know…

The British royals are getting even with Thai royals in terms of health issues.

The Duchess of York isn’t really a British royal.

She is a former British Royal/hanger on.

Well then he must be a pretty lousy dictator for having waited until the last two weeks of his terms, AFTER losing a fair and honest election, to throw in that famous "insurrection" without guns, but with selfie sticks and a guy dressed as a freaking moose, against the most powerful country and army in the world.

If Trump is elected again, and presuming he is able to see the end of his term, he will leave office, whether he wants it or not, on Jan 20th, 2029, not a day later. To suggest otherwise is just ridiculous and shows an utter lack of understanding of how anything in the United States works.

Bear in mind his plan was to put pressure on his Vice-President not to declare legitimate certificates.

As we have seen already he appears to be sizing up loyalists as his VP this time round.

of course, it’s difficult to see how he could stand for a third term but he has already claimed his first term shouldn’t count because of all the fraud that took place in the election he technically won.

“Later, he quipped about former President Jimmy Carter, who is currently in hospice care in Georgia with terminal cancer. “He’s happy because his presidency is now considered brilliant in comparison to Joe Biden,” Trump said.”

    Fair point IMO.

If that’s the case then Carter’s glory years were 2017-21.

Has an issue with the Lords because they're not elected yet elevated Cameron there so he could appoint him Foreign Sec....... .

Not to mention that he will go down in history as one of the unelected PMs.

My point is you can’t keep a parliamentary chamber as an ornament. You either let it get on with what it’s supposed to do or you change it.

I can't believe we actually know more about the state of the king's prostate than about what caused the death of the Queen. Buckingham Palace has a weird idea of what counts as 'public interest' here.

There is suggestion that The King was quite willing for it to be known it was his prostate that was giving him trouble in order to beat the stigma.

if she dies it would be a far bigger shocking death than Diana, yes Diana was younger but she was a party animal and a risk taker and had tried to take her own life a few times, whereas Kate is a clean living mother devoted to her kids etc

    Stop being ridiculous.

The living would be worse than the dead…

Thankfully I don’t think any of my friends are interesting enough to want bright colours.

Oh yes, what funerals need to be is that slow trek to the service led by some prat in a hat, followed by everyone plonking their arses down on an unacceptable pew whilst listening to some stuffy old tosser in a dress read a load of shite from an obsequious account of his imaginary friend, punctuated with indecipherable hymns and chosen songs from the real world that often amaze you by being even more depressing than the fucking rest of it. What's the point in all that misery? I hate it when people do this. That includes both my dead grandparents.

At my 'funeral', I hope those I leave behind just fly tip my cadaver and then go to a rave (dressed however they choose) and get absolutely off their cunts. It's what I would've wanted.

I'm not going to your funeral. It sounds too much like a good time.
