If all points are settled at the top end of the leader board 2023 is my best DDP year so far.
9th Place, which is one up on my 10th place in 2006(ish). Let down by my Joker!

Jimmy Carter.
But only because Pope Benedict wasn't an option.

Attenborough is less likely to break any bones at his advanced age due to vanity.

I don't think it would be a bad thing to have more people under the age of 90.
Admittedly my shadow list has more centenarians than usual this year...

in all other instances the vacancy was filled within a year.
I think this will be used as their “I’m not a racist” thing.

Windsor the Troll and Windsor’s OBE submitted this morning!
I fear for the future of my OBE theme team as I note the Order’s Grand Master position has been left vacant since Prince Philip died in 2021. It may be that they are finally going to get rid of the British Empire bit due to the amount of (black/Welsh) people turning down the honour.

Probably best you don't visit. Saying that would make you disappear .

Just now, drol said:She is dead but they stuffed her on life support and will keep her on it indefinitely.
So what you are telling me is if we pick her, we are a power cut away from a points bonanza?

She was on my Shadow List. Presuming she is dead but they are keeping shtum. No word on her since the new heir appeared.

Mohammed Deif
Born c.1965, Commander of Hamas forces and architect of the recent terrorist attack against the Israel people.
Bit of a wildcard considering the number of failed assassination attempts against him so far, but clearly he must be high up the list of Israeli targets.

It’s been a good week for my top 50…Carter, Kissinger and O’Connor all hits.
Sadly too far down the list for DDP success but Jimmy is still offering…- 2

This is terrible news. Just after the DDP deadline…
