I can tell you that I saw him in Soho two Saturdays ago (corner of Berwick Street and Broadwick Street to be precise) being pushed in his chair by two women who I took to be his wife and daughter.I couldn't tell you if he loooked well or not.

Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2005
millwall32 replied to The Yeti's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Football? They don't play football in the UK; they play soccer and rugby. P.S. I played rugby in law school. I still haven't recovered. Football, soccer. It is a matter of debate, depending on what side of the pond you live. It would have to be the Indianapolis Colts. That quaterback, Payton Manning will be in the NFL hall of fame for sure. Things to do while waiting for death....... Don't suggest things to do while waiting for death apparently. -
I have had some personal dealings with the man and can reveal that he is as much a preening, egotistical, self-obsessed idiot off stage as he is a talentless buffoon, overrated, twat on it. However I can't see him joining the "Beautiful Corpse " crowd if only because he is far too in love with himself ever to commit suicide. An unfortunate, but necessary, ommission from DL 2006. And what arsehole posted that (^) poem?

A sad thought but is Bob Newhart (b.1929) a good bet for next year? -

As a relatively new member I would love it if the rate were to pick up. I think I am right in saying that whoever dies next will be the first new death I have experienced on DL. Hopefully, if you see what I mean, things will pick up toward the end of the year. # Biggs next? We can but hope so.

Most Obsessive Deathlisters

Don't quite understand what there is to be embarrassed about. Besides which , by your standards, is it not a little obsessive to have tallied up our averages? -
Stop discussing Rayners ovulations and get voting.
-
No, no , and a million more no's. This is a poll to guess who will be the next person on DL 2005 to die. Would greatly appreciate your vote though.
-
Man that would be good wouldn't it.
-
I think it is done at the discretion of the administrators.
-
Not quite. It is different from this thread becuase it is a poll on who will die next not how many will die overall. It is also different from this thread because it a place to vote on who will die next rather than disscuss the overall list. Did not set up this poll to draw the irie of administrators, just wanted to see what the current consensus is. Having said all that ,I hope the majority are correct and Biggs does go next.
-
Thank you for your help.
-
Apologies. I wasn't aware of this thread when I started this poll.. I hope Biggs is next off the block this year (and have cast my vote accordingly) but it increasingly looks like his illness is a ruse to get a compasionate release. I suppose it is more likely to be Brooke Astor or John Kenneth Galbraith. But lets hope Biggs gets chivved in the yard or something.
-
I think Callaghan is not on the poll but if he is I apologise. Glad this poll got a few votes overnight , and even morre glad hat the consensus seems to be that Biggs will die next. Keep the votes coming......

Johnnie Walker - how's he doing?
millwall32 replied to Death Watch Beatle's topic in DeathList Forum
Bit of a pointless thread. The man seems to be in top notch health. -
Fair enough. My bad. Thought I had cut all the dead names out. Let's all just pretend that the star of "Ice Cold In Alex [or the mourgue or wherever] " isn,t on there.
-
But did you vote?

I got Jordan too. Is it rigged or are all male DL'ers the same? -

I seem to remember Dave Davies having a stroke a year or two ago. -
Why interupt a perfectly good film to broadcast such a non event.
-
Just a frail old guy no particular reason to have/ not have him on the list for 2006.

Or a poor tailor... Or having your picture taken on the Pakistan/Afghanistan border at 6:30 in the morning. He will be around for years yet.
