Things to do while waiting for Death ... 2005
Tempus Fugit replied to The Yeti's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
That's to find out how much of a glutton you are, whether you put your food above almost anything else. Of course if it's a McDonalds, it could also qualify under the "Do you harm yourself" question. -
Not me, I love everybody. Especially Bruno. Now as regards old ill Estelle Getty, from what I can find out about this disease she has, it progresses slowly. I think that a 96% chance of her dying next year is really overdoing it. I'd put it no higher than 70%.

Level 6 for me. Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell. -
Ideas and Possibilities for 2006

As a possible for '06 how about Gordon B Hinckley. Who? you ask. Well Gordon is the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormons to everyone else) So he's the head Mormon honcho, this at the very least should bring in some interesting ranters. Gordon will be 96 next year and he lost his wife in '04. -
Saddam's defence team are asking for ex US Attorney General Ramsey Clark to join the defence team. They also want a 3 month delay to the trial.

Is Charles Lane a good choice for '06? Is he famous enough? His imdb page has to be one of the longest, but it's all minor stuff. The above early post by Banshees is perfectly spelt, a miracle I thought, until I realised he'd just cut and pasted it from imdb.

George Best is being buried on Saturday in Belfast. Probably safer than a cremation.

Ernie's daddy murdered his mommy and then killed himself. Ernie is a bit of a bastard, his lawsuits against little people are a disgrace. Time to die Ernie, you greedy old vintner.

Already mentioned here http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...indpost&p=38927 Old "Lit" has never been so popular.

Perhaps you suffer from "Shy Pee" phobia -
What a bastard Hussien must be--using White Phosphorous (WP) as a weapon indeed. Didn't he know that WP is only allowed to be used by the good guys? The same weapon the US admitted it used in Falluja; the same weapon it used in Vietnam. The same weapon the US called a chemical weapon when Iraq used it, but not when they did. See here for a good write up. "Shake 'N' Bake", those GI's love their euphemisms. WP is one of those weapons that defies strict categorization. A nasty, but very effective battlefield tool.

I think West Cumbria has suffered too long from the cynical neglect of successive British governments. Their casual indifference - leaving us with the questionable benefits of a massive nuclear power station and sporadic tourist coaches filled with massed hordes possessed of little more intelligence than cattle - has consistently deprived the honest and decent people of this region of their due rewards. What do you think? That while Middle Eastern economist Tarik M. Yousef provides a traditionalist view on economic underdevelopment in the Middle East and North African regions, his ideals speak to the "quick-fix" aspect of our personalities, the one that wishes to see a solution within the next two decades. I think that Timur Kuran has contributed more to modern global deliberation on the topic with his theory of institutional economics as the root cause of modern poverty and tumult. What do you think? I think, therefore I am. I think I'll have a very large nightcap.

I don't believe in royalty. Your born into a faimly thrown into it with no choice and told as a young child what you will be. Some may take this as an honor but if the individual is a complete asshole.......then look what you have running GB. Royalty exists whether you believe in them or not. We already have a complete asshole running UK PLC, thanks. Not HRH QEII of course, but TB.

That has to be one of the most depressing things I've read in ages. How can so many people have such piss poor taste?

Ian is the most evil first name in Britain. Blair is the most evil surname. Sir Ian Blair must be practically satanic then.

Wilson "Lit" Waters Jr., a member of Grammy award winning gospel group "Fairfield Four". Has died aged 74.

Yep, I'd say March 22nd 1912 is correct. Can this thread be merged with the other Malden one. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...&hl=karl+malden [merged HCW]

I think he'll probably live to a very old age. Compared to Tony Blair he's as straight as an arrow.

How about a system where a life sentence means life. The option should then be given to the prisoner of suicide, via a cyanide capsule say. This option should remain open for all lifers', so at any point in their sentence they can opt for death. That way the State's hands are clean, the prisoner opted to kill themselves, the State just provided the means.

What has the Vice Chancellor done to deserve this scorn.

Pop star? Have I missed something? Pop icon, Pop just being short for popular, nothing to do with music.

Too true, there's few things worse than a sanctimonious Scotsman. Greavsie should have chinned him, on more than one occasion.

At least Greavsie had the willpower to stop drinking. Bestie on the other hand let his demons conquer him.
