I guess that stroke wasn't so minor after all, Aaron has now premanently joined the angels, and not Charlie's.

Sounds like a publicity stunt, I can't see Saddam doing a Bobby Sands. Too much of an egoist for that.

Well guess what - everyone who has replied to your post so far is wrong. He's very well indeed, and not living in anywhere remotely like Clapham but in fact is living in South West France. Divides his time between France and Surrey according to his agent's website.

Hartmann's Wiki page, sounds like he got shafted by the Americans. A site that lists all his kills.

I don't think we disagree. I was disappointed to hear that some people who had other nations flags flying from their cars received rude gestures. What about car flags anyway? Are they naff or are they OK? Personally I'm abivalent. I think in general footie supporters have settled down a lot from the way they were in the 70s when there was much more xenophobia. It's still not like Rugby Union where you get a lot more accommodating spectators. We sing the English songs, then we sing the songs of whoever we're playing. Another thing on anthems. Why are they always written by third rate musicians? Perhaps good musicians want nothing to do with nationalism and monarchy. One last thing. Who decided that Land of Hope and Glory was the English national anthem? I suspect it was a marketing manager. I predict England 4, Sweden 0. And finally. Don't agree that Crouch is ordinary. He suffers from tallist prejudice. How are you ambivalent about car flags?

David Bowie's wife Iman is indeed Somalian. An argument could be made that due to the current political instability the Somali President or PM could be a DL candidate. But as I can't name either I'd go along with Treble O's list of fameless nations. Iman was born in Somalia but is now a naturalised American, so she wouldn't count. http://www.fashionmodeldirectory.com/models/Iman_Abudulmajid The US permits naturalised citizens to retain the nationality and passport of their birth nations, but they must agree to be US citizens. I'd say there's a decent argument therefore that Iman remains more Somali than American, which presumably she became for work/travel reasons. But as there is no Somali government to issue passports, it would be impossible for her to use this citizenship. The Wiki page on Somalia makes interesting reading especially the bit on the economy, here's a quote; The free market finds its way.

She's looking pretty darn good, I wouldn't be at all surprised if she made the century. I don't think the photo in that article is contemporaneous with the event though. This one is I believe,

No like all builders God has moved on to another job, leaving the universe only half finished. Oh sure he said he be back to finish it, but once the cheque cleared he was off, the bastard!

That would all depend on what you believe. If you are an atheist I would think not. Well most of the town are either athiest or Christian. Both these faiths see no importance of the body. Athiests believe thats it, time to rot. Christians believe that your spirit floats off to heaven (or down to hell). So where the body lies id of no significance. The entire cemetary is blessed by ministers anyway... Good to see that you refer to Atheism as a faith, which indeed it is. Atheists cannot empirically prove there is no God therefore their belief in atheism is an article of faith in a similar vein to Christianity et al.
