Irrelevant threads like this one? That really belong in the Joke thread.

Calm down, calm down. I've already dealt with this is a more subtle manner. (But only because I didn't want it to look like I was picking on iain) F**k subtlety. If 99.99999999% of the people are so unfamous that no one has ever heard of them, then they should go in the "Not Famous Enough" thread. Ugh, I'm too pissed about real life to make a cohesive argument right now. Up the red wine intake old chap, it really helps to put things into their proper perspective.

Iranian Police women kick ass. -
Cook the desired amount of tricolore pasta spirals until al dente, empty into a large dish, add a couple of finely chopped fried onions, two tins of tuna in sunflower oil. To this stir in a jar of Salsina garlic and herb tomato sauce and one can of chopped tomatoes with garlic and herbs, add extra dried herbs to taste plus ground black pepper. Also a generous splosh of Worcestershire sauce, mix it all together in the baking dish add breadcrumbs and grated Cheddar or Parmesan cheese to the top. Bake in a moderate oven for approximately 40 mins.

I do pretty much all my own cooking, I have a few dishes I do well, these are Spaghetti bolognese, chilli con carne, lemon chicken, shepherds pie and tuna pasta bake.

I take it that our Welsh cousins also reciprocate annually with helping us to celebrate St Georges day. Thought not..................................... Depends what part of Wales you're in I suppose. I haven't seen anyone from England celebrating St Georges day, that day just seems to come and go almost unnoticed St. George he was a Palestinian wasn't he? Bloody silly patron saint for England. A rented cottage? That was Mark Oatens excuse. Dont mention the leisure centres. Sorry sheep. What do you call a Welshman with a sheep under each arm? A pimp. Those sheep around the cottage looked mean, wouldn't have wanted to mess with them In fact the only place of interest IMO was Portmeirion, where the TV show "The Prisoner" was filmed. It was only a few miles away, fascinating place, had a virtual micro climate due to its position, lots of interesting pathways around its gardens.

I have a couple of relatives that live in Wales, neither one of them is Welsh though. They both live in Pembrokeshire, or Little England as it is often called. I once had a holiday in Snowdonia, in a rented cottage halfway up a mountain and surrounded by sheep, very peaceful it was, and very wet.

Not a Titanic survivor, but somebody who was there when the Titanic was launched. John Parkinson, President of the Belfast Titanic Society, has died aged 99.

After doing a search I couldn't find any mention of Levi Stubbs, the lead singer with "The Four Tops" Levi has had serious medical problems over recent years a stroke and heart attack in 2000 and prostate cancer in '02. He is apparently wheelchair bound and Motown singers don't have a good record of longevity.

Nice to see some of us are still reporting deaths in the correct manner. How odd, dying at a funeral. They should have chucked him in the oven there and then. The very same place where Princess Margaret was cremated in 2002... They should put up a plaque - "Princess Margaret was cremated here & Peter Osgood died here" And Ernie Wise was cremated there as well, little Ern was placed into a little urn.
-
Have you got a link for that? Upstaging a funeral like that is just rude, some people ! http://www.uefa.com/footballeurope/news/Ki...sId=399867.html

Never heard of him, some type of ball kicker I gather.

Another Forum!!! You've been seeing someone behind our back, and wasting good quality Deathlist material! Go and finish off Norman as punishment 2002 she was diagnosed according the Guardian obit. Finish offin what sense? Finish offin, so he's in a coffin.

Hold your horses TF! I was in the process of doing that, but there were a few posts in the beginning that were relevant to the Salinger thread.. Have you ever heard of the following phrase? "Patience is a virtue" Regards, ff Sorry ff, I should have known better than to doubt your good sense.
-
Merging this old thread with the Salinger thread doesn't work, it now makes no sense at all. Far better to have left it as a seperate thread but change the title to something relevant like "Old Threads Discussion". _________________________________________ This merge works well though, thanks.

Another thread that really should be locked, to prevent it being dug up again.

Mintoff was many different thing to many different people, but what can't be denied is his huge impact on Malta's history. For good or ill he shaped modern Malta, few political figures have had as big an impact on their nation as Mintoff has. "Malta marida mediċina Mintoff", That kind of slogan would never work in the UK, we'd rather just have a cup of tea and a good moan.

A real shame. A very droll comedian. I had no idea she was ill at all... She wasn't even picked on DDP, so it must have been a ridiculously quiet illness... as opposed to that noisy illness of terminal flatulence.

Come the revolution a Mr. T Blair will be top of my lynching from a lampost list, not pathetic old Maggie.

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive

I always wondered what the name of the guy who played Bungle was. Stanley Bates is a bit elusive, no date of birth on imdb, and I could only find this old photo of him. What a way to spend the bulk of his career, in a giant teddy bear suit. -
Radio 4 comedian Linda Smith has died aged 48. She made guest appearances on lots of TV shows such as "Have I got News for You" and "Room 101".
