Did you mean antonym rather than acronym? Or were you being frightfully antonymitcal and you really meant synonym?

I think our esteemed ranter is suggesting that your hobby is debase, whereas theirs--seeking out fora they haven't read but they think they'll disagree with, post rants without merit, wit or intelligence, and sneak back in later to continue these non-sensical rants with anyone that bothered to notice their vaccuous posts--well, I'm sure that's what our poster thinks is the sort of fine and upstanding pastime that put the Great in Britain and made The Empire the magnificent beast it was. So, TLC, do your duty; search out those fora and try out this wholesome new hobby instead of your sordid old one. I suggest you might like to start on the BBC's Top Gear site.

Surprising as you might find it, the Internet does extend out past the borders of the USA. In the lands that exist outside those borders, you may also be interested to learn that there are vast swathes of different cultures, music, languages, arts and all sorts of other weird things that you needn't waste your time with. I think it'll be beneficial for both you and the 6 billion or so non-USA-residents if you stay on your side of the line.

No it's not. This is.

I'm not sure if this Wikipedia List of Unusual Deaths has been posted before, but there are a couple of crackers in there.

Some of you may be aware of the Sci-Fi Network TV show "Ghost Hunters" by TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society). This popular show has aired a few "we can't explain this ghostly apparition, moving chair," etc. episodes, supported by their supposedly unbiased "scientific" approach. See www.scifi.com/ghosthunters/. Well, the friendly folk over at SAPS (Skeptical Analysis of the Paranormal Society) have looked through the TV footage (edited and unedited) and can explain these apparently ghostly happenings as nothing more than, surprise, surprise, Ghosthunters don't appear to be playing it straight. See the video evidence for yourself at www.skepticalanalysis.com. Shame on you Ghosthunter Charlatans.

As usual Mz Greer doesn't know her apex from her pivot. Crocs and snakes aren't exactly known for their acute hearing. As for Steve Irwin being a professional multi-millionaire Aussie, based in the US--I'm not condoning the man--I really didn't like his over-the-top and in-your-face style, but I'll give him credit where credit's due. The millions he earned doing what he did have all been ploughed back into ecology programmes world-wide (it's an impressive list if you look into it) and bolstering up Australia Zoo on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. He actually lived there, not in the US, and genuinely made a difference in peoples' attitude towards ecology and awareness of wild environs. From the millions he earned, his own personal wealth was/is very small. Sure his family's not going to go broke any time soon, but I think, for all his faults, he was genuine and lived by the values he espoused. I never thought I'd actually say this, but I think the world will be a little worse off without him. I think it's OTT to ask for a state funeral, and the displays of public mourning for the man are, in my eyes, slightly distasteful. I'm just disappointed I didn't put him in my DDP picks as an outside bet.

according to uncyclopediaI saw it on the Internet so it must be true.

It sounds feasible to me... I wonder why ' earthquake' was chosen, and not 'flood' or 'volcanic eruption'? Does the meer mentioning of their names not produce the same effect?? This needs funding and researching. I'll write a letter right away. All join me in a rousing shout of "Charlatans!" If enough people speak the word it will give this fact more veracity, making gullible people less likely to be duped by these self-proclaimed (and completely falsifiable) psychics. In 60 years of testing, not one shred of credible evidence exists to verify psychic ability. 60 years of testing valid, credible scientific theorem generally provide more results than this. 60 years after the first heavier-than-air flight for example, we'd not only proven it was repeatedly possible but were flying supersonic planes, putting people in space and travelling the world on airliners. Hardly the same kind of result one sees for the power of ESP, telekenesis, remote viewing, clairvoyance, etc.

Science toys you can make with your kids. Fun with high voltage and A railgun in ten minutes. (They sounded better than they turned out to be) And while you're at it, why not have a relaxing stroll through the Frinktank blog? Just the kind of people to spice things up a bit at Sunday School. -
Of course not, silly. The climate control in my car does that. Today I set it to early morning fog, clearing to a fine afternoon, and a little light rain overnight to keep the lawn spruced up.

My money's on the late IYG, Banshees' favourite departed soul mate.

How about one of these from Moller?

I suggest Wrexham as the team of choice. Disliked by English clubs and South Wales clubs alike, docked 10 points and demoted because of it a few seasons ago. And they play in red.

Make mine a "Son Blessed" please. That carrage got room for one more up top?

I think I can shed some light on the matter. translation: Be gentle with me, you delicate sexy thing translation: You don't know it, but I've been stalking you for ages. Don't be alarmed translation: I desperately hope you're game enough to do something other than eat chips with those rosy red lips translation: Start stoking the fire because I like it hot translation: If you want cheese, then here I am. I haven't bathed for a week. I want to rub it into, etc. etc. translation: I won't last five minutes before I'm done. In fact, I'm done already but the thought of you... translation: Do you mind if I use you as a kinky toast rack in the morning? translation: Because my breath stinks. translation: Sorry. I put a period in there where I shouldn't have. It should have read "Enjoy your next door neighbour." I do. Especially through the peep holes I've drilled in your walls. translation: I've been stalking you for years. I found out where you work and applied for a job there. I've got you covered 24/7. I hope that clears things up for you.
