Happy birthday General. I salute your fortitude. The Shining Path didn't shine in Chile. You knew how to deal with that sort.

No. 10, for Deathlist. Good for us, not so good for Wiesenthal, but he was 96 after all. And his work will live on.

Ernest Gallo, no particular reason, just can't stand their mass produced wine.

Producer Sid Luft, Ex husband of Judy Garland. Died yesterday aged 89.

You must remember that as far as Al Qaeda and it's offshoots are concerned, they consider themselves to have been at war with the USA ever since America stationed troops in Saudi Arabia. So in their mindset the 9/11 attack was NOT a peacetime assault.

"Love thy neighbour" and "On the buses", both of these shows have aged badly, when viewed nowadays they really look very poor. It might be more productive to focus on the writers of these sitcoms, all of whom are alive. Ronald Chesney born 1920,and Ronald Wolfe, wrote most of "On the Buses",along with other sitcoms which you can see by clicking on their names. Vince Powell DOB not known, and Harry Driver, wrote most of "Love thy neighbour",other sitcoms also. I don't know if they are famous enough for Deathlist, perhaps someone in authority can say. -
Jazz Guitarist Al Casey died on Sunday. He was 89. Not a star, but he did have a long and successful career.

Ah where's your sense of fun? "Fire" by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown or "Going Underground" by The Jam depending how I was going out. For the Anarchist's funeral you could have The Traditional wedding march " Here comes the Bride". Now that would really confuse people.

You must really hate your relatives.

No, I believe in spirits, the 40% proof kind.

You can't beat a bit of Gregorian Chant for a classy funeral. Pop/Rock songs at a Funeral are just so gauche.

9/11 wasn't all bad news though, there was a big upside for the security industry. Terrorism in general is always good for my line of business. Nothing like a bit of fear to motivate the customers into parting with their dosh.

I sent them a polite email asking about famous residents, and this was the reply, Dear ****** Thank you for your mail and interest, Brinsworth House is a private residential home for retired members of the entertainment profession, and with respect we do not disclose the names of residents. Best wishes. Ray Donn Treasurer/Webmaster Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund www.eabf.org.uk I never really expected anything else.

I briefly met Richard O'Sullivan in the early eighties, he was in the sitcom Me and my girl, with Tim Brooke-Taylor. At the time Tim and I happened to share an accountant, and this is how I ended up having lunch with them both. Anyway to cut a long story short, it was clear from my short aquaintance that Richard was somewhat of a depressive. Although I'm told this is quite common in the theatrical profession. I am saddened by what has become of Mr. O'Sullivan.

I was just wondering Wastrel, as you've been to one, do they really serve Ferrero Rochers at Embassies? Sadly no, the only chocolate I encountered was an after dinner Bendicks chocolate mint.
