    Liquidation on Friday (hopefully)

Someone will step in at the last minute. Once the big guns go, the rest will follow (follow :P ).

  2. The game seems to have some flaws in it.

    1) There needs to be a rule for what happens when a headline appears more than once. What happens if my headline reads "Former President of Djibouti dies" and two former Djiboutian heads of state die in one year?

    2) If I get points for every word right, can't I just say "Obama" and then claim credit every time a headline with the word Obama appears? Granted it'd be a small score each time but it would add up quickly.

    2. The way I read it was once your headline is 'claimed', you can't use it again.

  3. Do I get another 10 points for this one? 'Cruise ship'

And another 18 points for this. 'Gunman kills' 4, 'himself' at US spa

    Well.........

#1... I think I might have to add a rule for the sake of the game. Because technical points like that make the game not as fun.

#2... Are you sure you want to submit that one right now? Because theres a lot more potential in that headline. There was recently a school shooting in Ohio.

1... The cruise ship did make the headlines after all.

2... yes! as you said in an earlier post, "So that would require me to part from the deathpool community. :( In that case, I'll either just end the competition right there or hand it off to someone else to take care of" so the game might end soon (unless you're thinking of going on a shooting spree?).
