Sorry, WEP... I don't see the team when I get to add these descriptions. those are still with GUN at that point (Yes, that one is on me.) But you have to admit... you don't make it easy for us, and it doesn't serve a purpose.

However...... the descriptions of those are the same... The actress is missing in the database :sigh: What if I.... got some Krusty Burgers and disguised them as my own cooking? gave one of those Joyce Reynolds' the different description, but the coding stays the same. By the way, I am fixing all these things, so just keep on looking.

Okay, as often, after the game goes online, people check for errors, and sometimes a team goes missing, or there is a misunderstanding and such. And today, we have to add another team that didn't make it into the game. That team has picked Jerry Lee Lewis, which means he has now been picked one more time than Paul Gascoigne. So Paul Gascoigne doesn't make it into the Drop 40 anymore, because we have a clean cut at 35 picks to make it. Just for your information, the rest should remain unchanged, I hope. But it's possible that someone loses a unique pick, because that new team picked the person as well. I haven't checked all 20 picks but it might happen.

The statistics: 514 teams 10274 picks 3426 different celebs picked. I think the latter number might change by 2-3. So yeah, that's the kind of difference that is left.

I saw a couple of names now with birth year 1905. Must be an access thing or something. I assume most of these names actually have an unknown birthday.

Yeah, those team names....if you actually choose a team name that has been used before, the Excel formulas (default files since...oh, I don't know, 2013?) assign an old code that belonged to the previous team. And then all the statistics of that old team get assigned to the new team. Unfortunate, but it happens. However, now that the site is up, we can do some more changes without throwing everything in disorder. The number of teams and picks, and who these picks are, is set.

I will update the scores in a bit, but then be done for the day. The next task will be to finish the photos for the Drop 40 - that's easy. But if you want to help with the photos, you can give me a PM or post here maybe. You can help us if you: 1. find photos of those who don't have one 2. cut the photos into a quadratic shape 3. resize / shrink them to a 150 x 150 (you can find this stuff on the internet) Then send them to the DDP email address. I think it would be best to write me first, so we don't do the same work twice. I will occasionally upload them, and have the goal to get all of them within the next weeks or so, if we can.

Well, according to that logic, fundraising, campaigning and blogging shouldn't count at all - because if the person was already notable before, why even bother? Vicky Phelan's political impact is what makes her count. Now, yes, it happened because of her illness, but not every ill person does what she does, or did. Maybe in the future, the rules will be stricter, but for now, these people, much like, for example, Noel Conway, or in the past, Kate Granger, are at least part of a societal discourse, if you will.
