Country Singer-wife Criscilla Anderson stops chemo treatment and gives herself into the hands of some god, probably Baal. https://www.survivornet.com/articles/criscilla-anderson-who-is-battling-stage-four-colon-cancer-says-shes-stopping-chemo-treatments-im-letting-god-work-his-miracle-on-me/ DDP pick but unpicked by quite a few of the usual suspects, including me. -

Susan Bayh is in extra time. In terms of deadpooling glioblastoma is even more ... reliable... than other cancers. As people tend to live with it just about "a bit more than a year" you can time it very well. But there are outliers. My C-team pick Martino Sclavi lived with it for six years. I put him on my team(s) because after several surgeries and two-three years of stability, there was a new growth. Then, some initially successful treatment pushed him from main team to C-team. But that treatment really didn't delay the inevitable.

Ha! Well...I was (and still am) one of the people most vulnerable to overthinking. I could have had it even easier by doing what everyone does, and just pick John Andretti instead of Pete Felton. Now, let's see where it goes. My other differentials have succeeded and to be honest, I would be very happy with a first Top Ten result in four years (or three if you count the B-team). Edit: 2 pts behind Rad. It goes even after a potential David Hagen vs Susan Bayh (or Lars Hogh) match-up. But Rad has one more hit. We share Banali, Kerslake, Gulpilil, Sang-Chul, Trebek and Vialli. Meaning the duel Rad vs me comes down to Hogh/Bayh, Supernaw, Tapie, Tobin vs. Barkan, Bilton, Smullen and..., Tom Smith? I hadn't realized that Rad doesn't have Tom Smith. I am pretty sure that Tobin will be a hit for Rad.... but Smith will also be a hit for me. That said, I think Supernaw isn't a bad pick.

The name of his newborn baby is "X Æ A-12" https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-52557291 He belongs on our lists just because of that.

I once saw him face to face in a Cologne music shop. The closest I ever got to someone that obitable. RIP.... I think he was the heart of Kraftwerk. The other founding member, Ralf Hütter, was a bit more the brains... he is the one still keeping it going by doing these tours, which are, in my opinion, more like homages instead of the real thing. (Also Ralf Hütter was in a court case about illegal sampling just last week and is looking just fine.) And if you've ever wondered about this particular Bowie song, yes it's about Florian Schneider:

Funny. In fact, I would say the last real "hot" conflict between China and the West was the Boxer uprising exactly 120 years ago. After that, it was 80 years of indifference, followed by 40 years of hot capitalist love, because Deng Xiaoping asked for our money and we gave it to them freely. Now that the tables are turning, people are starting to wonder about the monster we created. Too late...

Okay, I guess it is time for me to replace non-obit Kate Figes. I would like to pick Rush Limbaugh instead.

One of my favourite artists.... is also a sub for my Windy City team. I didn't like to read it, but he's been in shaky health for years now. But then, at 83, what can you do...
