Female firsts are very often going to make the Guardian. They also reported the death of the first female Spanish defense secretary. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2017/apr/10/chacon-spain-first-female-defence-minister-dies

Indeed a shame. I had a feeling he was dying soon, as he left Hollywood and returned to Berlin not quite long ago. Then he received a couple of lifetime achievement awards here. I wasn't brave enough to pick him though.

Ah ok, I understand.

How do you find these things? Anyway, she's one I not expect to obit.

Yacht designer Carlo Riva dead at 95: http://robbreport.com/boating-yachting/carlo-riva-passes-away-95 I'd bet money on a Telegraph obit. -
On the gofundme page, the funeral is announced for the 20th of April... I think I've never been so ghoulish...

Though I already thought of them yesterday. I know them because of the Fallout video game series. Maybe... The Gypsy... I don't want to set the world on fire...

Oh, that was just some sort of primal scream, more directed at Sun/Mirror/ITV/Daily Mail. I'm fine with the rules.

In fact, I saw him on the evening news today and thought to myself that something is wrong health-wise.

Former Labor powerbroker, now inmate, Eddie Obeid, supposedly gravely ill with diabetes: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/former-mp-eddie-obeid-moved-into-protective-custody-with-paedophile-at-his-request-because-of-his-high-profile/news-story/611c7fac2a349cafb44091cf67db1f28 A Down Under theme team looks pretty promising right now.

Fattest man of the world, and exceptionally shameless Shameless pick Juan Pedro Franco set to undergo gastric bypass surgery: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-4359694/World-s-heaviest-man-Juan-Franco-gastric-bypass.html He succeded at losing enough weight to allow the operation, but there is still risk involved.

I would guess the Sun/Mirror take a day or two to pick up the local stories, so the obit will come on Monday/Tuesday. The obit for the Cup is there. Bad miss on my part. Meanwhile, pick of the Love Boat Connie Johnson has decided to end all treatment.... tick tock... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4393098/Connie-Johnson-makes-decision-end-cancer-treatment.html

Well, corpses also dehydrate pretty quickly.

Hmm, interesting. I assumed she was a bad pick because her last test results were positive.

The AP/Daily Mail copy paste? 90%

This time, DI starts like hell. For me, Iain Reid needs that obit. His brother wants to post funeral plans on the GoFundMe page, and I would assume that the obit in that local Glasgow paper is more likely if he's actually buried in Glasgow, not dead in some hospital in Milton Keynes. But let's see.... And as I said, our match will be a slaughter. Both players will end up in the double-digits.

Has critical brain hemorrhage: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2017/04/04/dodgers-pedro-guerrero-hospitalized/100015456/ Edit: Hmm, I already have him in my long list because of brain surgery he had in 2016.

Actually, I think he did make it, at least back to the UK. He died at Milton Keynes Hospital.
