I'm probably more devastated about it than Britney and Sam.

Frank Price (1930): President of Columbia Pictures and Universal. He greenlit Kramer vs. Kramer, Tootsie, Gandhi, The Karate Kid, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Out of Africa, Howard the Duck, Boyz n the Hood and Groundhog Day. Frank retired in 2021. Think he was born about 30 years too late to be famous as a studio executive. His son Roy had a Metoo issue in 2017.

Marlon Brando's secretary Alice Marchak is apparently still alive. https://books.google.se/books?id=_6x_EAAAQBAJ&pg=PT99&dq="alice+marchak"&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi7mtjFl4v7AhVCc3AKHSGOASkQ6AF6BAhiEAI#v=onepage&q="alice marchak"&f=false According to this link, she was born on 13 April 1920. https://www.officialusa.com/names/Alice-Marchak/ I wonder how many others in the Pageantry book are still alive. At a quick glance, most seem to have amounted to nothing more than obscure beauty pageants and modelling jobs.

Films with entirely dead casts

Wagner started pretty young for an adult leading man, didn't he? Most of them were usually at least 30+, meaning that someone alive today would be around 100 to beat that. Can't think of many leading men of the 50s alive today. Don Murray, Pat Boone, Harry Belafonte, Michael Craig? Does it count with kids as leads? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dakota_Kid https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Horse_Ambush -

Austrian-born actress Tilly Stephan (1922-2022) died on 22 September at the age of 100. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0826866/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

Sonja Sonnenfeld (1912-2010). The movie was Metropolis, just a bit part...

There was a human rights activist here in Sweden who started out as an actress and dancer. She claimed to have been in one of the major silent films in Germany, but her name evades me atm. Think she died in the early 2010s, was pretty close to 100. I'll see if I can remember. Edit: The last person to be in a Swedish silent film was probably Annalisa Ericson (1913-2011). She was in a 1923 movie as per her official site and other credible sources. https://www.annalisaericson.se/ https://www.svenskfilmdatabas.se/sv/item/?type=person&itemid=59285 Edit 2: Nope, that honour belongs to Britt Hagman (1927-2015), who was in a 1929 silent movie. https://www.svenskfilmdatabas.se/sv/item/?type=film&itemid=3659

Has unspecified health issues, which he also had a few years ago. Could be worth keeping an eye on in the future. https://gametiptip.com/final-fantasy-composer-cancels-concert-due-to-health-issues/

Yep, he was my sub in both this and the Hare's deathpool. Thought he was doing well enough to survive the year. Oh well, may he rest in peace. Out of curiosity, are there any top teams whose jokers haven't died yet? Kinda regret going with Barkan instead of Burgess.

Foreign Personalities, From Stage, Screen, Politics And Life
Predictor replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
In all seriousness, I didn't know you saw me as that. I've tried my best to make mostly decent contributions to the forum for almost a decade, but hey it's your opinion I guess. Just wanted to give Gisoo an accurate and updated list. -

Of all the people to say this, YOU???? Remind me again, how many entries do you have on your Excel longlist? 10 000 or 20 000 names? Have a nice day, you obscure folks-picking deadpooling melt! And get some fresh air once in a while. I mean, Vlastimir Mijovic? Are you fucking kidding me? For the record, if correcting an inaccurate list is pointless, that's your problem. -

Believe it or not, he was in a Swedish movie once. So he gets on the list on a technicality. FYI, the broad media consesus at the time was that Blonde in Bondage was one of the worst movies of 1957. Guess which Hollywood actor never returned to make another movie in this part of the world again? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blonde_in_Bondage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i71Qc6Ql7Gk -

I'm 99% sure. There are a few people I couldn't confirm so I left them out. On the other hand, I forgot to add three names to the list: Mark Miller, Bo Bjelfvenstam & Ragnar Ulfung. -

Errm, those born in the late 1930s are hardly the oldest living actors in Sweden. Below is an up-to-date list of the very oldest to have worked in movies and tv. Maj-Britt Håkansson (29 March 1919) Astrid Söderbaum (30 June 1919) Irene Söderblom (19 November 1921) Maj-Britt Thörn (2 March 1923) Bo Bjelfvenstam (24 April 1924) Erich Conard (12 May 1924) Marianne Bernadotte (15 July 1924) Meta Velander (13 August 1924) Mark Miller (20 November 1924) Bo Wärff (15 March 1925) Amy Aaröe (20 May 1925) Sten Skragge (13 August 1925) Hasse Burman (17 January 1926) Berit Frodi (19 April 1926) Nils Eklund (17 January 1927) Ragnar Ulfung (28 February 1927) Ulla-Britt Hedenberg (5 March 1927) Inga Landgre (6 August 1927) Anna-Greta Bergman (28 August 1927) Ingrid Björk (28 September 1927) Sture Ström (7 December 1927) Pretty cool that there are three centenarians alive right now. One of them, Söderbaum, actually turned 103 yesterday. From what I could find, both of the 1919 ones are in the national top 4 longest-lived actors/actresses to ever appear in a Swedish film. Sylva Åkesson (1916-2021): 104 Stein Grieg Halvorsen (1909-2013): 104 (Norwegian actor, but was in a Swedish film once) Maj-Britt Håkansson (1919-): 103 Astrid Söderbaum (1919-): 103 Elsa Sundgren (1915-2017): 102 Nini Theilade (1915-2018): 102 (Danish dancer, but was in a Swedish film once) Sally Palmblad (1908-2010): 101 (ended a looong centenarian actor drought) Martha Colliander (1888-1989): 101 (first centenarian) Ingrid Luterkort (1910-2011): 101 Guje Lagerwall (1918-2019): 100 Irene Söderblom (1921-): 100 Sven Hasselström (1889-1990): 100 (the only Swedish male centenarian) Susanna Ramel (1920-2020): 100 On a closing note, let's enjoy this pic of Söderblom in her 20s. -
Ok thanks, changed it now. She was alive a few days ago when I last checked.

Unique pick for me in 2018. I didn't see him as a QO certainty, but now we know the answer. Maybe this being a Winter Olympic year helped? RIP.
-
She was my pick last year. I didn't see her as a QO certainty, but now we know the answer. RIP. Btw, my "off-game" score for the DDP appears to be 64, which is 5 points higher than my all-time score of 59. I could see myself getting past 100, and that's even if Alagiah, Whale, Nolan, Turnbull & Barkan all survive the year.
-
Hey. My intention was to withdraw here too, but I might as well let it continue actually. I am surprised that I'm so high up on the list, most of my hits have been big names that I assumed everyone had. I count up to 664 rather than 665, could you double-check please?
-
Hi, Is there anyway I can have my team completely removed from the DDP website? It wouldn't affect the D40 for the rest of the participants, I think. I would greatly appreciate it. See spoiler for explanation, don't wanna derail the thread.

Relevant quotes from some of Ed Gale's (Chucky the Doll, Howard the Duck) videos. Could be a good pick for the Windy City Deadpool. October 2018: May 2020: January 2021: July 2021:
