    American R&B musician (and ex-husband of Tina) Ike Turner, born November 5, 1931, died on the 12th of December 2007 because of a cocaine overdose but he also suffered from a hypertensive cardiovascular disease and pulmonary emphysema so probably it was a combination of all his diseases.

    Ten years ago American rapper Soulja Slim, born James Adarryl Tapp Jr. in 1977, was killed in front of his mother's house by four gun shots. He was 26 years old. In August 2004 his song "Slow Motion" hit US No.1 posthumously, his one and only Billboard No.1.

    Richard Harris, singer of “MacArthur Park”, one of my all-time-favorite songs, died 11 years ago aged 72. In 1968 this great song reached No. 4 in the UK, No.2 in the US and No.1 in Australia! Oh, by the way, he was also an actor, producer, writer and director.
