Brinsworth House and Denville Hall
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to millwall32's topic in DeathList Forum
Thank you, Godot. I stand corrected & enlightened. -
sorry for slight delay in replying....theres so much to read/research...and so little time ! No insider knowledge.... Cant remember where Gilzean come from....I must have been searching on "Spurs players from the 60s" or something....and his name popped up . He looked old even when I saw him play....so presumably if no one knows of his whereabouts , theres a good chance he's already gone ! Found the following, but it's from 1996, so I didn't bother pasting a link: Alan Gilzean (Tottenham Hotspur) Had a spell in South Africa, then returned to manage Stevenage from May 1975 -August 1976. He now runs a haulage firm in Enfield. So, he might still be with us. Mind you, if he is, it must be due to all that sunshine at his favoured holiday hotspot: Hotspur Holidays!

Brinsworth House and Denville Hall
Brinsworth House Baiter replied to millwall32's topic in DeathList Forum
I was just looking up Ray Donn on the Brinsworth House website to see who he was (check the Richard O' Sullivan site if you're unaware of his irrelevance) & noted with some surprise that H.M the Queen is the Patron. Now, as it's a well known fact that Royal Patrons are only given to members of the Royal Family who use the product in question (Princess Margaret- Woodbines/ Prince Charles- Baby Bio/ Prince Harry- Von Steinz Fancy Dress Shop, Berlin/ Princess Di- KY Jelly), it occurred to me that perhaps the Queen might have her own bedroom at Brinsworth House? Perhaps if Ray Donn reads this he might post a reply & confirm or deny this. If it is true perhaps he could ask Her Maj to shuffle along the corridor & inquire as to how Dicky O is holding up? -
Thanks for the post Meat, Marvin, Robert, Michael... or just plain Guest as you like to be called now, but you should learn to not be so sensitive.

Words fail me. Despite your unregistered name, I reckon I'd be pretty safe in saying that you don't get laid much?

Any news, B.H.B? I hope you used a false name. I speak from bitter experience, you understand. No news Bou, I'm sorry to say & I was appalled to read about your Aled Jones experience. Did it result in much counselling? So, Brinsworth House & our sitcom hero are aware of & monitoring this thread are they? So it would appear that the reason my autograph request has been ignored is born out of ignorance & not ill health... I am a little peeved, let me tell you. I've glanced back at this thread & can't see anything scurrilous or libellous, save for the odd poster (& let's face it, most of 'em are a bit odd in 'ere) saying they think Dick O was crap... which is opinion, as against libel... isn't it? Richard, if you are reading this, I personally think that you should be knighted for services to the light entertainment industry, making camp highwaymen Saturday night prime television & for wiping that cheesy, smarmy seventies grin off of Tony Blackburn's mug... albeit for only a short while. I genuinely consider you to be a national treasure & if I were a faded celebrity, I would consider it a great honour if my name was kept alive on a great website such as this. I think I can safely say that there is not one amongst us who wishes you ill. In fact, I think that it is perfectly obvious to any rightminded individual that you are being remembered with a great deal of wit, affection & fondness here. Now, about that autograph...

Carl Giles sadly died in 1995, aged 78. I guess as good a term as any for a dead cartoonist would be 'rubbed out'?

I can't read the link- I think it's in French.

Couldn't waste a moment of my precious time too even try to figure out what in the world you are talking about. I've worked it out & I'm sorry to say that I have spent much of my precious time this morning thinking about it. As yet I haven't reached a conclusion, but as soon as I have recovered I shall be going back into the bathroom to think about it some more.

Not that tasteless, but I thought it might be of interest: celebrity morgue Although I expect a lot of you might have already seen it.

Found this today & I think it's going to become my favourite sport: Sick Entertainment

I think our thread's better than this lot's... they're even arguing about the name of the budgie in Man About The House...crazy dudes Dickie O Fanatics Apologies if this has linked to before, but there was no way I was going to trawl through all of this thread to check!

Agreed. What's particularly interesting is that someone has taken the time to compile the list, and is kind enough to share it with the whole world. Is there anything not on the internet? Yes, retard porn apparently.
-
BTW, this was in response to a ranter whos post has since been deleted. So I wasn't being rude to BHB. I was online last night as it was going on, so I knew you weren't, but I must admit your post did look a bit strange today to the unaware, so I'm glad you've chucked a disclaimer up, lol. I only wanna be lurved!

Hoping it doesn't sound too ghoulish, but I don't suppose he bequeathed his avatar to anyone did he? Only I really liked that last one, of the animated chick in red...
-
I can't believe they're appealing for retard porn! Now that is just beyond sick...unless you're a retard I suppose...maybe...oh my god...this image is going to take some shaking off...I'm going down the pub for the rest of the afternoon.

Don't go here then... Nut Job

Can you play CD's on a dialysis machine?
-
Technically speaking that should be 'moods' as he's a manic depressive! Interesting... If only he was schitzophrenic as well... I can picture him in his tiny room at Brinsworth, acting out the whole cast of Man About the House by himself. I don't expect he'd need too much make-up to be Mrs Roper these days. Whatever his mental state, I can unhappily confirm that he isn't answering his mail.

Now that is a genuine shame...Midnight Hour is an absolute classic. RIP Wilson

My god...and pray tell, where can one purchase these DVD's? Seems we've been here before... http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...indpost&p=33029 Again, my god... Tempus, I could have quite happily gone the rest of my lifetime without seeing that... -
Mmmm I'll take it you're not in a Dickie O' mood tonight then?
