One of Buddy Holly's Crickets, bass player Joe B. Mauldin, might be worth keeping an eye on:

Mauldin is dealing with a health issue and wants his privacy respected. On Thursday, Curtis [another Cricket] said in an email, “He is having surgery in a few days and cannot go to Cleveland.

Did anyone? Too, late if you didn't.

don't be to maudlin about the death of Joe Maudlin!

    Joke ruined.

I stand corrected on the likely sentence, hadn't appreciated until I took in the full horror of it all on the news last night that he's been done for the attempted rape of an eight year old. That'll put time on the deal, as - maybe - will further allegations being investigated. One of two of his fellow celebs - like Stuart Hall - got off more lightly than they might because the law is applied as it was at the time of the crime. But even in the seventies, very young kids earned you good long sentences.

So, his "mates" may be the only good news on the horizon.

Stuart Hall also pleaded guilty, which is generally looked upon favourably when determining sentence.

Lord Judge said Hall had aggravated his prolonged pattern of serious sexual assaults by initially protesting his innocence and criticising his victims. He then doubled Hall's sentence.

  4. By the way: Does anybody know if Henri Young is still alive?

He`s the one who managed to escape from alcatraz (Movie: Murder in the First played by Kevin Bacon) ?? Unfortunetely I could not find anything on Wikipedia :(

If he is still alive, he would now be 103 years old and therefore a fantastic candidate for DL.

Alcatraz History says: When his Federal sentence expired in 1954, he was turned over to the Washington State Penitentiary at Walla Walla to begin a life sentence for an earlier murder conviction. In 1972, he was released from Washington State Penitentiary, but he jumped parole and, according to Washington State authorities, his whereabouts are unknown.

Chances are he died on the run.

Oh, stop whingeing. Michael Hutchence -> Paula Yates -> Bob Geldof -> Peaches Geldof. Simple.

Tim Farriss -> Kevin Bacon -> Pharrell Williams -> Peaches Geldof.
Orri Vigfússon -> Prince Charles -> Michelle Mone -> Peaches Geldof

Adolf Hitler -> Mother Theresa -> Kevin Bacon -> Peaches Geldof -> Mornington Crescent

I understand the need to get Kevin Bacon in, but I fail to see the link between him and the Witch of Calcutta.

    regards,

    Hein

Does it matter? I played the Euston Square advantage. Anyway I got to Mornington Crescent, so I won :)

No, she lived and died in Wrotham, Kent which is not on the underground system and she would have to use a surface line to connect to Euston Via Sevenoaks, change at Swanley for London Bridge...

And from London Bridge, it's a short distance on the Northern Line to Mornington Crescent.

I'm sorry I haven't a clue as to what you are all going on about. :D

You and Spade have been really trying way too hard since I took the mantle of edgiest poster here.

It's not a "show" either. I could spell out why that's a wrong remark but I "win't" as charon wid say.

Hadn't noticed that I'd changed to become edgier, I'll ask the missus for a reality check once her handcuffs are off and her gag is out.

Before your time we used to have Monkey awards for the best posts, threads and the like, I don't recall we ever rated edginess or identified a forum leader in that dept.

It's not been used in nearly five years.

FFS take their mastermind leaders, give them jobs in Hollywood and disable this organisation now!

I'd say send them to Slough where they can work in an amateur theatre group performing mimes.

    And friendly bombs could fall.

    Satanic?

    Lol.

you don't think burning people alive and cutting their heads off isn't satanic?

It's obvious you don't know the meaning of the word satanic, so I suggest you look it up.

You employed a double negative in your statement so the real meaning of what you posted is you think burning people alive and cutting off their heads is satanic?

Your English teacher must be immensely proud of you.

Perhaps he meant it to be "Allahic" :) or for the deed to be "Allahistic"

One thing is for certain; he's fuckwitic.

  10. I could always leave it incase Medina gets the chair (if they still have it in California) or move it to ideas thread.

Needle or gas only, however California hasn't murdered an inmate since 2006. A judge has ruled the present system is unconstitutional because of delays.
