Guest IYG Posted May 7, 2005 In my ever growing interest in people about to die I came upon a site similar to DL and DDP called http://www.cash4cadavers.com/ and I was wondering, is it sick to bet money on deathlists or is it no more sicker than attempting to predict deaths? I seem to be ok when we're talking about predictions, but betting money on it. I don't know, kind of creepy to me. What do you think?
Banshees Scream 110 Posted May 7, 2005 Well you have to think of it like this. They all have gained fame and most of them have gained great deals of money. Having deathlists can teach you alot accounting on not only learning who half of these people are but what they have done. If you read any celebrity magazine for example any storys reporters or journilists get they knock almost any starr even if the story is 99 percent false. In ways that is the price you pay for being one of the so called "beautiful people" I had posted something simmaler to this and it was on "how would u feel if you were on a deathlist? I would take it as an honor though some may take it as an insult. Is it sick}} that would depend on how you look at it. Its hard for me to have an opinion because i am a member and i dont see anything wrong with it accounting on what i said before they are all are mostly rich and famous and thats the price you may pay. So either i have a wild cruel sense or humer or i am simply insane?
football_fan 42 Posted May 7, 2005 I have no problems with it. It is no different than making a bet on a possible outcome like a lottery ticket, the horse races or the casino. The outcome of a person’s life is not going to change whether or not a bet is placed.
Tuber Mirum 126 Posted May 7, 2005 It's understandable though, why it's illegal in many of the more enlightened countries of the world to bet on a death; it does tend to encourage people to go around bumping each other off.
Guest IYG Posted May 7, 2005 Thank you all for your comments. I have to agree with something Banshees Scream said. Ever since I found the DL and its "sister sites" I have learned a lot about history and people on this planet and I find it very interesting and enjoyable to learn these new things. But betting for money on this, still not comftorable with the thought.

It's also the reason they don't have third party life insurance.
