Well I said "I expect" and "but who knows". As @Master Obit correctly pointed out the other day, at that age it's all up in the air. Look at Germany's Charlotte. She was one of the healthiest looking supercentenarians, and she went before many of the living corpses. 

Similarly, I'm shocked that Ethel Caterham has outlived Tinniswood.

Looks like he died following a fall a few weeks prior. Sad but what a remarkable life, and definitely nicer to go without a long decline than spending years in a very frail state.
