Now that almost anyone can achieve some kind of cult fame would the moderators ever consider changing the rules about qualification for the DL? We all seem very clear that terminal illness, old age etc are no basis for fame - even if you're planning a charity cycle ride. But how much would an afflicted, old or terminally ill person have to do to qualify as famous enough for the DL. Could the DL take on board newer forms of fame - like people famous via web sites created in their honour, obsessive public interest etc? Mid-week, middle of the afternoon, bored at work.
