I can see a theme here of dudes linked to a band / TV show / Movie etc croaking of notable causes. Thus making them akin to a hand of poker.

William "Wee Gee" Howard: Died of a heart attack in 2000, aged 49

Elbert Wilkins - Died of a heart attack in 1992, aged 42

James Mack Brown - Died of an aneurysm in 2008, aged 58

Willie Ford - Still Alive

Larry Demps - Still Alive
