Continuing the discussion from yesterday, does anyone think we'll hold another euros or world cup?

See the three additions. They'd need to allow us to use at least 3 or 4 London stadiums, otherwise we're fucked. Other options is and England/Wales/Scotland bid then Cardiff City, Celtic Park, Hampden Park and the Ibrox would be on the table. 3/4 London Stadiums 2/3 Glasglow Stadiums 2 Manchester Stadiums 2 Tyne and Wear Stadiums 2 Liverpool Stadiums 1 Cardiff Stadium 1 Edingburgh Stadium That'd be 10-12 stadiums across 7 cities. The clustering would also allow you to base teams in good areas close to them.

Spain first team to win by more than 3 goals. Regarding the UK hosting either the Euros or World Cup. We could host either at a canter. Euros Requirements: 2 stadiums with 50,000 seats, 3 stadiums with 40,000 seats, 4 stadiums with 30,000 seats (9 stadiums). Wembley Stadium, 90,000 Twickenham Stadium, 82,000 (if permission can be gained from RFU) Old Trafford 80,000 (after expansion) White Hart Lane 61,000 (after rebuild) Emirates Stadium, 60,338 Stamford Bridge 60,000 (after expansion), otherwise 41,000 Olympic Stadium, 60,010 Etihad Stadium 61,000 (after expansion), or 53,000 Stadium of Light, 63,000 (after expansion, could reach 83,000 but will never be) , 49,000 St James Park, 60,000 (after expansion) or 52,000 Anfield 59,000 (after expansion) or 44,000 Other options New Goodison Park - up to 60,000 seats, low as 39,000 Villa Park up 50,000 as low as 42,000 Hillsborough up to 44,000 as low as 38,000 Look at Qatar stadium sizes that would easily qualify us for the world cup. If UEFA backs down and allows rail seating, as would be sensible, those stadiums could all hold 1.8x those amounts.

The lack of domestic hooliganism incidents in the last 16 years on the scale of Marseille last weekend proves we'd be more than capable. However, I don't think UEFA would let us. Not to mention are police are one of the few in Europe who regular work inside football stadiums with home and away sections.

Croatian fans throwing flairs at officials and their own players and then fighting with each other in the stand. Turns out a section of Croatian supporters are deliberately attempting to sabotage the national team at every opportunity, they were attempting to get today's match abandoned as they believe the guy who runs Croatia's FA is corrupt. They also take Nazi flags into matches in an attempt to draw fines for the team and get them kicked out of the competition. The fighting was a result of ordinary fans attempting to sort them out so the match didn't get abandoned. To appear consistent UEFA are going to be required to warn them they'll be expelled if this continues, which means you can expect to see the same routine should they win their next match.

The online section is the issue.

I think Newbeat is best seen at the BBC's attempt at a Showbiz mag disguised as news rather than actual source of news.

The thing is on this forum, we joke about virtually anything, there's was jokes about the Paris attacks and Orlando ffs, which to me a far far worse tragedies than the singular murder of an MP, if we're going to start getting offended by this stuff this forum is going to become extremely quiet, extremely quickly.

For a day at least. Those f***ers will be back to pollute the airwaves with bile-infested verbal shite for another week, though I did wonder today what this all means for the EU referendum. Personally I'm all for putting it off. I know they won't, and it would cause political and economic turmoil but what's the alternative? Take the weekend to come to terms with the death of a colleague and then everyone back here bright and early Monday morning to spend a week kicking shit out of each other over stuff nobody understands anyway? Given David Icke and other wackos are already running with her death being a fake designed to affect the result of the referendum by convincing more people to vote to remain - it'll be interesting to see if it does actually effect the polls. Aye, but in answer to R&O's question, he's basically about right. Drop off for enough time to make it look respectful and then back at each other's throats for the final sprint. To be frank given what we know about previous politicians cover-ups and murders I'd only be a bit surprised, rather than astounded, if something along the lines of senior politicians orchestrating her murder came out in a few decades. It's rather coincidental that after 204 years, some-one other than the IRA decides to kill an MP the same week as the EU Referendum.

Corry plays for my team, Blackburn. His performances in a blue and white shirt are not so worth seeing, although he has his moments. My team will be playing you next season. Fixture list out on the 22nd.

Did you catch the Ukranian during the hailstone break?

When a Halibut kills someone its not all Halibuts and islam is not to blame we mustn't control islam when someone goes nuts with a gun its all gun owners and the gun is to blame we must control all guns You're 100% right about validation maria eagle already using this as political ammo on twitter. I have a feeling we will be seeing alot of this in the future , there is no justification in attacking innocent people like in Florida or anywhere else but people really hate MP's and they effect people's lives big time. If a disabled person attacked and killed IDS because his benefits were stopped would any of us really condemn him ? I can see either Halibuts attacking MP's for supporting certain wars or right wingers attacking MP's who they feel have turned their back on the UK like with today's attack. Wasn't another MP not long ago stabbed with a knife by a person in a burka? Don't remember that getting the same coverage as this. This is gonna be used to influence the referendum. Now it's clear Britain will remain in EU, whether she survives or not. I really doubt it. The two campaigns have suspended to reflect it. People in Britain are mature enough to accept that a lone nutter does not represent an entire organisation. Hopefully she pulls through, but if the In camp attempt to use it to get people to vote In I can only see more people voting out.

Sorry, I forget Slovakia beat Russia. You are indeed correct and it is indeed Group B not Group A. Whilst I wasn't working in the pub, I saw about 60 minutes of the match, make of that what you will. Although I meant the first two group stage matches had concluded, which also applies to Group A anyway. Aye, quite likely, watched it in a pub and genuinely felt a bit for the Welsh at the end who'd done everything they should have done (give or take getting Bale on the ball from every break out). Hard to feel sorry for the welsh.
