The death of Hiroo Onoda, assuming he gets an obit (and I think he will), makes January 16th the record breaker with 5 hits. What about Suchitra Sen? Do we use local time of the death or UK time? PERHAPS (?) she died on when it was January 16th here? (not sure about this one and need guidance ) Cheers.

Former football star Ian Redford found dead aged 53 http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/former-football-star-ian-redford-3009308 FORMER Rangers and Dundee United star Ian Redford, who was once Scottish football's most expensive signing, has been found dead aged 53. Police today confirmed that they have recovered the body of the former midfielder in Irvine earlier today. Redford, whose autobiography was serialised in the Daily Record last year, signed for Rangers for a then-Scottish transfer record of £210,000 in 1980. Over the next five years at Ibrox he made over 200 appearances for the club, winning the Scottish Cup and playing his part in three League Cup victories. He then returned to his native Tayside to join Jim McLean at Dundee United in 1985 where he played in their UEFA Cup Final defeat. The talented goal-scoring midfielder, who was called up on several occasions but never played for the national team, played for Ipswich Town, St Johnstone and Brechin in his latter years before finishing his career as a League Cup winner with Raith Rovers in 1995. Rangers legend Sandy Jardine paid tribute to his former team mate who was part of the 1981 side that lifted the Scottish Cup. He said: “Ian joined Rangers at what was a very difficult period for the club. “He managed to catch the back end of what you would say then was the great team of the 70s.

Only THIRTY YEARS late with this news. DURING A MEETING with Minister for Foreign Affairs Peter Barry in October 1983, the then-Secretary of State for Northern Ireland James Prior referred to Ian Paisley as a schizophrenic.

Yes, ANY terminally ill celeb will count. Thanks for asking.

Just to clarify please: Does this mean that Wikipedia IS allowed as a source? Are you able to elaborate (for the purposes of clarification) what is meant by "Celebrities are disqualified if they are a celebrity because of their impending death" I assume that this is there to rule out "my last six months on this planet" bloggers and baby X who is dying of cancer, but what about folk who have been in a coma for years (such as the Jewish Tv Ariel repairman) Thanks

His ability to be funny died decades ago.

Now that the 2 former PA's to NIGELLA LAWSON have been found not guilty - thus leaving Nigella open to claims that she is a junkie and a perjurist (?) do you think she may decide to join her former husband (and 2001 DL member) John Diamond?

Excuse my ignorance but who or what is MPFC please?
