Well me choosing Peter O'Sullevan two times on the spin has produced some borrowed time for the old commentator. Hopefully he will produce a late run and get first past the post this time around -
Probably in most teenage boys right hand as they close their eyes at the last couple of strokes

Just "skating away,,,on the thin ice of a new day"
-
Guess he will be "living in the past"......A pun from an old rocker

Kerr was also one of the few remaining credited actors from The Dam Busters movie. I believe John Fraser is the last actor alive before the squadron gets Dam Busted

Interesting, as a renowned film producer, "Dickie" managed to do his own death scene in one take.....and......cut...it's a wrap

My pet hate?.....watching tax payers money being spent on off road purpose built cycle lanes, only to see the fuckers still clogging up the highway and not using them

Suicide debate or not, I considered Williams a superb actor rather than a comedian. His variety of screen roles made him box office and never type cast like many other actors. Think of Willis, Stalone, Eastwood, and alike and you can virtually be assured of one particular theme of movie. Williams on the other hand appeared to have a better range, probably using his inner emotions, and facial expressions to transform some of the characters he played. A sad loss IMO.

Sticking with Peter O'Sullevan...Surely he must be "odds on" for the next "photo finish" -
Congratulations....congratulations, I want the world to know I'm happy as can be.... love those lyrics! Personally, I'm guessing as this alleged act was from the 80's, it was probably when Cliff discovered he had a willy....Still with a mouth full...."It's so funny we don't talk anymore"!

No saying my wife is fat and overweight, but last night we were preparing for a night of passion and she lowered her panties below her knee......her arse was still in them!

Wel those eyebrows let me down last time, so I will pass on Denis Healey this time....Instead I'll try all things horsey and have a flutter on Peter O'Sullevan.....in a photo finish -
Is it not just a case of them changing the film? No, I checked my tv schedule, which fel into my mailbox last wednesday, and this film was announced to be aired today. So yes,BBC must have seen this happen. When are they showing the next Clint Eastwood movie? Checkout one of the movie channels, Mr Bearer, they are starting to run a season of Eastwoods films shortly....wont be long now!

"It is believed that the microchip may be able to help him walk and talk again after his extended period in a coma." Shame we did not have a complete set of these for the England World Cup Squad last month

I met her a couple of times, once in Brighton in the 70's, the second when she was filming Last of the Summer Wine. She looked frail then and had a couple of assistants with her when opening a charity shop in Huddersfield raising money for Dementia sufferers. Of course she is another one off the list of surviving Carry On survivors, and classic British Comedy film actresses.

A chap knocked my front door today and asked me if I wanted my shed re-tard......I said no and went shopping...When I came back the shed had gone!

Well with Garner making his "Great Escape" that leaves only Richard Attenborough 90, William Russell 89, George Mikell 85, Angus Lennie 84, Lawrence Montaigne 83, David McCallum 80, Karl-Otto Alberty 80, John Leyton 78, and Tom Adams 76.

Sounds funny but the guy never really reached headlines as a Hollywood Great, but in truth could act with the best of them. The Great Escape, Rockford files are well documented, but roles in films such as "Support your local sherrif", Space Cowboys, and Duel at Diablo proves he had the range and capability to take on leading roles. Sometimes actors and actresses end up being type cast for particular roles and if that was one failing Garner had it was this. Personally I enjoyed his style of acting, as it differed from many of the main stream actors of his era. The usual cliché of there are not any actors like him is a fitting tribute in my book.

As for Lost in Space....as Doctor Zachary Smith would say.....Oh! the pain the pain!....It reminded me of Blue Peter. How to make a television set from an egg box and coat hangers. So high tec for its era, yet to look at it now makes you shudder!

Always remember Del Monroe who played "Kawalski" in Voyage to the bottom of the sea. He was the poor chap who always turned into some mutant every other episode only to recover at the end through Richard Baseharts character Admiral Nelson's ability to stick to the script. Giving the impression that the submarine "Seaview" was rocking side to side after some explosion every episode, by all the crew/cast co-ordinating their moving to one side of the vessel to another, whilst the cameras tipped sideways was always a classic to watch too!

Ah yes what a double act from the Soviet States....there they are hand in hand.....turn to a packed house in the Kremlin....and cue music...."Bring me sunshine in you smile, bring me laughter all the while".....bollocks wrong double act!.....Mind you they were about as funny as Mike and Bernie Winters.

Good for you Predictor...at least he did not have to go into extra time to earn a recall.
