Who Will Be The 5th Hit Of 2014?
Pistol Knight replied to The Unknown Man's topic in DeathList Forum
Well after my stunning success with Eli Wallach [and after claiming my two hours with two supermodels as a prize according to the postings] I'm backing another pair of bushes for my next pick. Denis Healey and those eyebrows. They must surely be fit for another government cut. -
He is still very much with us aged 83. Although retired from acting since around 2004. Loved him in his role as Battery Sergeant Major Williams in the ageless "it aint half hot mum". Brilliant character in the series and well scripted. Everybody laughed at him, even though he was just doing his job. I guess there were many many such Williams in the armed forces that made us relate to his character.

Mein God!....I'm Germany....according to the quiz I could not score better in this lowly quiz.....Now I know how low I can get.....lower than a snakes shadow!

The Good the Bad and the Ugly.....Surely Eli Wallach must be due his "High Noon"

Absolutely gutted....He was part of the radical movement in comedy in the late 70's early 80's. Until then it was stand up comedy wall to wall for the working class....I'm sure many of us members just had to watch "The Young Ones" purely because it broke many of the taboo's surrounding British television. As Alan B'stard in the "New Statesman" he ran rings round "Yes Prime Minister" with scripts made for his style of comedy. Continuing his double act with Ade Edmondson could only serve as his epitaph. "Bottom" progressed from must view television to sell out live shows across the country, proving that he was just as popular some 35 years after becoming such a hit.

112 year old Jane Gray, a Scottish born Australian[Goodness knows how that happens]has died. At the time she was holder of two titles...the oldest living Scottish born person, and oldest living person in Australia.

Subject the bleedin obvious!...... Hopefully old Zsa Zsa will close 2003 shortly, and then we will have another obvious quote form our guest.....Can't wait

Bugger...never any good at sweep stakes....had him down for D Day 6th-June.
-
Prefer D Day June 6th myself.....a few rounds of "ack ack" gunfire....and a flypast of "Free Polish" pilots in a squadron of Spitfires should do the trick.
-
There must be some good British celebs who could be good substitutes for the original cast....any offers? Timothy West would have made a good Mainwaring....
-
828040...Max Wall 828041...Billy Dainty Both famous for their comedy and silly walks....that or being kicked in the bollocks
-
Bollocks...nearly had me snookered there....how about John Pullman for number 200 then.....boom! in off the red!

One of the few politicians I had a lot of time for. I attended many of his one man shows in theatres where he proved to be a real human being, with a very good sense of humour.

Friday night.....pub...........first pee..............drain at least 62lb's of fluid from my body........... 62lb of fluid......sounds like a long running story.....a very very long running story...come to think of it, I wonder how long it would take to pee 62lb of fluid?.....about 10 seconds at half time during a Rangers v Celtic match!

The original series was titled "The Likely Lads" and ran from 1964 to 1966 originally. Bewes,Bolam and Fearn all played lead roles with the series running for 20 episodes, so perhaps this now claims the record...unless it can be bettered...

Fancy we should earmark Bruce Forsyth for 2015. He reaches 86 this February, and in his own words treats every day as on borrowed time. DeathList 2015 could be alright if we "Play your cards right"
