    I can't find any proper additions. Apparently Sergio Corona has been discharged and David Levy, Israeli former deputy prime minister who was hospitalised last week in ICU with heart failure and pneumonia, has also just been discharged.

    David Levy has died at the age of 86

    Czech President Petr Pavel has been taken to hospital after injuring himself while riding a motorcycle, his office has said.

     

    It said the injuries "are not serious", but a "short observation" was required. It gave no further details.


    Thursday's accident is the latest extra-curricular injury the Czech leader has suffered. In April, he suffered an injury while firing a weapon at a shooting range.
    The former general suffered a minor laceration near his eyebrows while shooting with a rifle equipped with an optic, his office said at the time.

    The most promiment group in the Israeli right nowdays are the Religious Zionists (who in the last few weeks have been physically attacking drivers of random trucks in the occupied territories and Jerusalem), and other followers of HaRav Kook, they see this attack and the war that follows as a necessary step towards redemption, or Ge'ula as they call it, and the coming of the Messiah. For them, the people of Gaza are descendants of Amalek, and the people murdered in the attack are a necessary sacrifice to capture the land which they own, and rebuild Gush Katif.

    Apparently not the first time the death of someone still alive has been announced in the Knesset - former minister Amnon Rubinstein was announced dead in 2000 when he was in hospital, still alive 23 years later, now 91.

    Yael Dayan has passed away aged 85.

    I too would recommend taking it with a grain of salt, the only confirmed part is that he was hospitalized and no public announcement was given prior or after his stay.
